'AID' - Air Force Security :
'(Adaptive Intrusion Detection system)'
'Michael Sobirey, Birk Richter'
'UNIX Rules Based'
'The risk intrusion detection system that aggregates audit reports from a collection
of hosts on a single network. Unique to DIDS is its ability to track a user as he
establishes connections across the network. Possibly only available to U.S. Air
Force. Network based, anomaly and misuse detection using real-time surveillance
of network traffic. Recognizes over 170 kinds of network and host-based intrusions.
System was designed with the help of WheelGroup developers of NetRanger. The
ComputerWatch Audit Trail Analysis Tool was developed by the Secure Systems
Department at AT&T Bell Laboratories. The tool provides audit trail data reduction
and limited intrusion detection capability. It is designed to assist the system security
officer by reducing the amount of data that he/she views without the loss of any
informational content.Computer Misuse Detection System - Real-time audit reduction
and alerting system. Uses an expert system and statistical profiling to analyze audit
records. Uses attack signatures, both core and customized. One CMDS Analyst
Toolkit is required for every 300 targets (workstations). Automated Security Incident
Measurement. Monitors network traffic and collects information on targeted unit
networks by detecting unauthorized network activity. The ASIM real-time alarming
capability is implemented using a pop-up window under the X Window System.
ASIM can also detect one Network Layer activity: SATAN scans. A package that
allows you to analyze any form of Audit Trail by customizing the format description
of your trail. Analyzing substantial amounts of data and extracting relevant infor-
mation out of huge sequential files has always been a nightmare. Using highly
sophisticated and powerful algorithms, ASAX tremendously simplifies the intelligent
analysis of sequential files. ASAX's real power is unleashed by deploying its em-
bedded, easy to use rule based language RUSSEL. Download from Coast FTP

Welcome to the Spy ...
With over 1,969 *new* links, and more than 363,000 visitors so far, it's safe to
admit that 'The SPYder Web' IS more popular than "Bear BBS" ever was ...
Many thanks to all of you who have sent in E-Mail to The SPYder Web site in
the past. Now with the "lists" of links being folded in "space/time" to reduce by
half the number of pages - and more links daily, the growing areas include 'hot list'
search engines, meta-search engines, files, directories, databases, over 390 links
to the "paranormal" ( real X-Files ) and , with over 110 links - effectively making a

A few *news* items : Summer 2001

Over 1969 links, and over 973+ pages on-site ! And into web-year number 7 ! ...
UPDATE : 2001
WELCOME : hrvg.org and uspsisquad.com !
I've just finished reading both "The Music of Time" ( Nichols/Moon ) and the
new book, "The Philadelphia Experiment Murders" ( Bruce/Moon ) , both quite
excellent in bringing anyone up-to-date on the Montauk Project story so far, and
we have a link on the Main Page at PSYCHICSPY.COM to "Sky Books" in a
short banner near the top - just click and go to see these titles, and all the other
Sky Books on the Montauk Project and other stories ...
I've had some limited e-mail contact with Peter Moon recently, and I can under-
stand why he doesn't do interviews, or interact with the Press. My recent radio
interview -w- Peter Weissbach's "Quest" ( see below ) wasn't that informative,
and I was 'just another psychic' interviewed on his National Program. My real
work has been here, at PSYCHICSPY.COM since 1995, and my BBS before
that, to 'get the word out' about Montauk, and other 'projects' - also my methods
which appear 'similar' to hacking, are explained more fully, as 'psychic functioning'
tools, to find non-public/restricted/For-Official-Use-Only/Classified (?) papers via
the Internet, from hidden government/Military servers - their origional source - only
to 'vanish' as soon as I link to them ...
As far as threats, there was an e-mail entitled "A Real Threat" from an individual,
which was deleted unread, since virus attacks from e-mails are common now - never
did find out who it was, but after hearing Peter Moon's stories, in the new books, we
are having a relatively 'threat free' time here at PSYCHICSPY.COM these days ...
This newsletter, the second most popular webpage here, has more personal accounts
stories, and rumors than any other webpage here - hence the 'NEWSLETTER' page ...
Don't forget the MOST popular page, the "RESTRICTED" page - a collection of non-
public material and the "Archive DATA - USAF" page, with even more specifics and
e-mails ... enjoy !
More News ...
There has been a lot of new items to report, but the new baby has kept me running
literally ! The David Oates Interview hasn't happened yet (?) - I suppose no one wants
to know what Peter Weissbach thinks about his new show ( speech reversal ) ... From
Ian Punnett - no contact, from a broadcaster who 'always' answers his e-mail - he usually
replies within the week at most - odd, my psychic 'take' is that after that 'security' guest,
Ian now believes I'm a 'Computer Hacker' and 'Criminal' - I'm a 'remote sensing' psychic,
which predates a 'remote viewer' psychic, although I do have a great 'port-scanner' ...
They say things change with a new baby - well, I had to drop 10 banner ads on the main
website ( PSYCHICSPY.COM ) due to non-payment, or no reciprocal banner ad links - even
Sean David Morton PROMISED in several e-mails to reciprocate, but alas, no link ... we
dropped the banner from the main page to the Hawaii Remote Viewer's Guild, their hard-to-
find text link keeps getting buried - to enterprisemission.com, Sean Morton, and the rest,
shame on you ! We now have the primary links to www.fantasticforum.com and Beverly
Jaegers, at the US Psi Squad ( remote viewers ) who have always been extremely kind &
supportive - remember text links are free -some 1969 of them !
This newsletter ( album.html ) together with the Main Page ( http://psychicspy.com ) and
the user forum and 'restricted page' account for the most hits - we keep adding always !
The Central Intelligence Agency linked to us in the month of February, which accounted
for a lot of hits, due to a mention in an article in the 'Spy-Fi' section - now the archives
as well as the Spy Fiction sections are gone - hope no one got in any trouble over it -
but e-mail from Military Intelligence Analyists, and the Intelligence Community keep coming
in, all in favor of this website - thanks ...
Lastly, as documented by SIGHTINGS radio producer, the 'Remote Viewing Wars' do seem
to continue on, and, as I agreed, I will publish an evaluation of Psi-Tech's former Major Ed
Dames remote viewing home-study course, as newer materials are now being sold as video
seminars ... so far, the Hawaii Remote Viewer's Guild is doing the traditional RVing correct
and FREE, and Beverly's US Psi Squad, using psychometry and Remote Viewing for Police
Departments / Private Investigators is our favorite these days ...
Peter Weissbach Interviews 'radioman' ...
A friend just created a banner-ad for PSYCHICSPY.COM ( above ), and promises
to make some newer ones ... I suppose it's a ggod idea now that I'm doing the
'talk show' circuit again ( national radio ). The producer of Weissbach's The QUEST
asked for background and contact info for this website. The topic will revolve around
the 'quest' of mine, for the last 11 years, to persue paranormal/psychic phenomena ...
As a natural psychic, I began my serious research, which resulted in this website's
creation nearly 7 years ago - it's my 'bookmarks', and personal journal, and more. As
it became apparent that Remote Viewing and Remote Hearing ( reverse speech ) were
part of something larger, Remote Sensing, and still again part of a larger 'psychic ability'
there should be no shortage of talk show material this February. Two years ago I did a
national 3 hour radio interview, with hosts David Oates and Clyde Lewis, which barely
covered the topics ! This time emphasis will be on 'NO MORE SECRETS' - how a psychic
approach can exceed keyword searches, even computer 'hacking' in finding anything on
the Internet, including Classified Military Documents ! It should be a 'wild ride' ... stay tuned ...
"Remote Sensing goes beyond Remote Viewing, even beyond
Extended Remote Viewing, and is much older - a continuation
of Clairvoyance, Clairaudience and Precognition, if you will ..."
"Remote Sensing was named by P. Hopkins, from Edmonton,
Canada in a session where he hypnotically 'regressed' me to
a prior Remote Viewing Session, then monitored - remotely
my re-living of that session and remotely 'mined the data' -
pointing out items overlooked, forgotten, or eliminated as
trivial by me at the time ..."
"Remote Sensing can be used for NUMBERS, remote medical
diagnosis, even Internet Searches, or finding CDs on a shelf of
several hundred CDs in a large bookstore, unlike Remote Viewing.
In addition, it can be used to find supposedly non-existant classified
military documents from public servers as a 'target' - and other uses
which include benefits from psychometry, and telepathy and
will bypass the limitations of traditional Remote Viewing ..."
The CIA / Wright-Patterson AFB shuts down Sam Spade ?
Seems the service at samspade.org which offered reverse scan rDNS is gone
- the CGI script was removed after a few days of our posting the CIA's new
UNLISTED servers as well as the WPAFB 'For Official Use Only' FTP servers
and their Ether-Net ... not ground-shaking since the following options still exist :
1) Shareware Program : PING_WARS which can 'ping' successive DNS addresses
2) WS_PING : Available everywhere, including here - you can start with any address
find it's DNS number, and increment/decrement manually and 'ping' away - you may
find some interesting unlisted servers ...
OpenHack Contest Unbeatable ?
It seems that there have been 'winners' in past Ziff-Davis 'Open Hack' contests, but
the rules seem odd ...
While someone might want to edit a 'system log' to remove any trace of their presense
I doubt the ability to WRITE to a system is that important - in today's web-destroying
escapades on webhosting servers I can see why someone may want to develop anti-
writing security software - but is this hacking ???
The responce below indicates that 'looking around' in a root directory, after a logon
isn't hacking ... hmmm ...

Hi, sure the permissions are set to not allow users to create /hack.txt.
That's the point. :)
What do you mean about it not being a secure system?

MESSAGE :
... www.openhack.com promises some $50,000 to anyone who
can leave a message ( as hack.txt ) containing their e-mail
address as a security software test ... hmmm seems the CHMOD
permissions are set so that is not possible ... yet, it's
not a secure system either ;-)

Psi-Tech Bans Radioman ...
Seems I'm no longer welcome for posting this - from their IRC chat server :
" ... because I sent him tapes to put our banner up (which he didn't ask for)
and he put up all this other trash RV banners on his site and then took ours
down and you know damn well that Angela and HRVG didn't give him anything
in exchange for the complementary banner."
" ... I was a supporter of your site long before those clowns came along ...
and I will be rid of all the liars and charlatans too." -
Joni Dourif, Pres. Psi-Tech

Massive UPDATES !
We've added a LOT of new material via the Public FORUM :

frequent UPDATES and links - with submissions, it tends to be even more current
than this Newsletter is ! Check it out !
Read about the big e-book retailer controversy HERE :
http://psychicspy.com/soft.html
In a nutshell, after almost a year as an 'e-tailer' of online books, with a total income
of $ 0.00, I finally used a secure credit card myself and ordered an e-book online, by
using one of my many web 'click-through' banner ads - yup, I didn't get credited with
the 20 % sales commission on THAT one either - wonder how may books I've helped
to sell over the months - the problem lies in the HTML code - it was supposed to link
to MY retail account - guess not ... read the details ...
Local Newspaper Article ???
I received e-mail contact from the local newspaper, which shall remain nameless, that
my site, PSYCHICSPY.COM was to be featured as a local 'Website of the Week' ...
Well, it didn't happen - I used to work for the Millbrae Sun/ Burlingame Leader papers
many years ago. As a member of the Press, I know sometimes the decision to 'pull' a
story can be arbitrary, based on an Editor's whim, or column inch size that issue - the
e-mail was very positive and upbeat, with some background questions about how I
came up with the origional idea for this site, how it's maintained, etc. - I returned all
the info, and did ask to remain anonymous, for obvious reasons - since the article is
about the WEBSITE, not a personal 'human interest' story - when another site was
then chosen as the featured website, with the usual list of 6 other non-local sites
'worth visiting', I considered a reply, curious why PSYCHICSPY.COM was dropped.
While true the webhosting server has moved again, it's still a local site - I did a bit
of 'Remote Viewing' to determine if there were other reasons - I know several people
at the paper ... I got the result that she (reporter) " ... came from a Military family."
TRUE, there are some 'questionable documents' here, but consider :
First, the Pentagon mandated that all classified/restricted/sensitive materials be
removed from the over 1,000 DoD websites some two years ago : see the directive
on this site, and ...
Many search engines, all public, retain cached copies ( archives ) of removed web
pages to this day ...
The Military leaves a 'certain amount' of documents available to the public that upon
reflection, probably shouldn't be ...
The NSA has downgraded all "For Official Use Only" documents to NON-CLASSIFIED
Lastly, Remote Viewing itself, after initial CIA funding at SRI, and some 20 years of
DIA sponcorship, was eventually de-classified, with Major Ed Dames, and others like
McMoneagle and Morehouse left to teach public classes ( how I was trained ) as the
CIA report determined that Remote Viewing was of 'little value' for Intelligence Work
( not true, by the way ... see website ). So while I may be accused of questionable
practices by some, remember that all the information is collected via public search
engines, and Psychic Remote Viewing here - all public, with there being 'no' papers
or documents that are CLASSIFIED on the Web, collected by a method the CIA has
deemed 'useless' anyway ;-)
Perhaps an article may appear someday, but chances are not in the local newspaper
although I've done national Talk-Show radio interviews in the past ... stay tuned ...
A Word about Lawsuits ...
News this week includes mostly off-line items. I recently received a lengthy letter
from a friend's fiancee threatening me with an inclusion in a slander lawsuit if I did
NOT remove immeadiately a public FORUM post - in short, I did, however I decided
to additionally remove ALL posts/threads and links, newsletter praises, and banners
for this Remote Viewing training company as well ... We're somewhat 'staff-limited'
here, and to persue the Freedom-of-Speech issues will have to be done by another
webmaster, sorry ... PLEASE be careful what you post - the last deletions was a large
list of 'CIA' agents working in Japan - when someone clipped a news article, saying
that the US Justice Department and the FBI were pressuring the US State Department
to have a website in Japan removed, I realized the content, by that very individual,
on my Public Forum BBS as well ... gee, thanks ...
Is Art Bell Back ?
Speaking of rumors, word is that Art Bell will begin webcasting soon, if he can do so
without violating a 'non-competition' agreement with his former employer - I suppose he
can have a regular web-broadcast of music, not talk ... seems Ham Radio forbids any
'broadcasting' and discourages controversial 'religion/politics' - why I'm an inactive Ham
Operator these days ... good luck, Art ...
A Word about FREE 'Services' on the Internet ...

First, welcome to the Hawaii Remote Viewer's Guild, a quality service available
through the Internet. Glenn and the Crew are doing things right ! Carry on !
I am sorry to report that the other free 'services' on the 'Net aren't worth the price
even if they are free ... We dropped the counter from digits.com, which, at best,
really never accurately tracked the total daily 'hits' here - their pay 'professional'
counter worked a little better, but the bill for over $100 didn't seem worth it either !
Then came the TRACKERS, not much better than the counters, either - HitBOX has
had a 'meltdown' - now displaying parts of DNS/ISP digits and root domain names
when working at all - useless ... the EXTREME tracker people fared worse - they
managed to track visitor cookies/ISP about 17% of the time, and 'hung up' the
entire links page from working (JAVA) the rest of the time - not worth doing either ...
In the end, we haven't found a reliable OFF-SITE service for hit counters, trackers,
or anything including guest-books, etc - we are still testing the FORUM at OneCenter
and the 'unique visitors' counter at BeSeen currently - with our recent webhosting
server setup, the actual system logs show some 7,000 hits/day ( including graphical
elements and reloads as well as visitors, unique visitors, and URL referrers - so the
conclusion is that all the 'bells and whistles' you can add to YOUR website to try to
'enhance' it, short of some quality free graphics, are essentially worthless - you're
better off using your own server's resources, like day/date/time and other system
functions if you have any need ... even mydomain.com initially denied they were
forewarding our domain name when we moved to a full webhosting server ... if you
have need of a service, paying $5 to $15 a year is better than free, even for a lame
service - then you have the means of non-renewal/non-payment to terminate next
year ... some free services, it seems, are eternal - especially when you try to drop
them and try someone else ... in theory, without 300,000 users and a busy Internet
some of these free services, like hit counters and trackers, which use a graphic
element, like an off-site .GIF file, should work reliably over a java-script routine
which may ruin your browser if it doesn't complete - at least some did previously.
Rumors, Forums and Art Bell ...
Another oddity, my two posts on the FAN-TASTIC FORUM were deleted, due to
'terms of service' violations ... someone, another ham, had mentioned that a fan
had received an e-mail from Art Bell - the content 'rang true' with what little is
now known about what the 'retired' Art Bell is doing these days - seems he is a
frequent user of the 80-meter ham band late at night, mostly during the same hours
that he did the 'Coast to Coast' show - 10 PM - 3 AM these days ...
I had added, as a tidbit from another Ham operator ( we all communicate ) that Art
had promised to 'reserve' the artbell.com domain name for himself, for future web
use, for a homepage, website, and possibly web-casting a show 'someday' - well,
I posted that, along with the comments that ARTBELL.ORG hadn't been registered
yet - I was mistaken, the Ham replied that all were gone, .COM, .ORG and .NET,
but that there had been a transfer at NetworkSolutions (InterNIC) for the ARTBELL
domain : artbell.com into Art's name ! Yes, I did a search, and verified that this was
accomplished recently. Oddly, Keith R. became Art's webmaster because he had
done a registration of artbell.com some time ago, set up a 'teaser site' for Art, and
did become his webby - now gone on to bigger and better (active) talk show hosts ...
I found it amazing that Keith R. would 're-register' the ARTBELL.COM in Art's name,
as Art wanted, but kept himself as the 'technical contact', perhaps to set up Art's
future site ... having just re-registered a domain name for a different 'server', from a
'redirection' page to a full webhosting server, despite some delays, the actual person
named as the origional 'registrant' usually remains the same ...
I made a second post on the FAN-TASTIC FORUM, which Art and other personalities
are rumored to read that there were still some anomolies about Art's address : there
are three different ones : first - Art Bell's NetworkSolutions registration, second -
the Ham Radio FCC registration, and lastly the address that circulated the 'Net, that
was claimed by Clay Fondren, Private Investigator - all THREE address are distinctly
different ! I asked if ANY of them were legitimate, or can you trust 'anything' on the
Internet ? ... well ...
BOTH forum posts were deleted, because DOMAIN NAME REGISTRATION data, all
which is public, by-the-way, was a T.O.S. violation - and 'posting Art's street address'
too - which one, if any ? Here's the only 'street address of the three different addresses
for 'ART BELL' - is it real ? Who knows ?

RADIOMAN'S ACCOUNT TERMINATED !
In a surprise move, the ISP account for 'radioman' has been TERMINATED ! Not as
a surprise, however, since the new domain PSYCHICSPY.COM is now running with
FULL webhosting, CGI-BIN, SSI, etc. at it's new home ( see story below ) . What is
news is that ANY e-mail to : radioman@seasurf.com will be returned as 'undeliverable'
from now on ... Internet access, and web space are 'gone' as well ...
Many items were considered, and the advantages of full webhosting, and more user's
'bandwidth' finally won out ... this website has migrated from it's beginnings at the
BANISHED.CPU BBS, to CompuServe, to GeoCities, to many other temporary homes
as it's moved to larger and larger servers over the years - currently PSYCHICSPY is
webhosting three other domains, and growing ... thanks for your patients ...
The origional goals of The SPYder Web News have expanded into more than just
bookmarks, 600 search engines and directories, and archived documents - we now
have added nearly 2000 links, visitor's logs, and tons of new, quality images seen
nowhere else on the 'Net and some 965 pps online ... enjoy !
NEW WEB SERVER for PSYCHICSPY.COM !
Finally, a quality webserver has been found for PSYCHICSPY.COM, and it means
that some additional 65 MBs of materials can be added eventually to over 956 current
web pages and 1900+ links ! NOW every page will be at psychicspy.com - like the
Reverse Speech Archives are now at http://psychicspy.com/speech.html ... so if
you bookmark anything, it will be HERE on this actual site - the 6 other webhosting
sites occasionally had some 'bad' links back here ;-)
While the new psychicspy.com is working perfectly, photos and all, some of the old
'referring links' on other websites still say - http://seasurf.com/~radioman - we will
apologise, but I think Seasurf will be happy to get their bandwidth back ;-)
Among the interesting new visitors : NOLA.NAVY.MIL, the CIA, and the USDOJ :
US Attorney General's Office .. and dozens of DLA embedded site and the UN too :
fw.unido.org - 193.81.242.1 - United Nations Industrial Development Organization
with all the 'spooks' who have come to rely on us - we're bigger and better than ever !
Why YAHOO ! Anyway ???
It's no secret to regular users out here that the nearly 2000 links came primarily from
the search engine "ALTA VISTA" and submissions ... even the US Gov't uses it as
a 'default' web browser choice ... of late, with mergers, etc - it's getting more and
more difficult to get Search Engine listings :-(
Then there is YAHOO ! that everyone raves about ... WHY ? Our GeoCities website
was entirely 'deleted' by the admin, as explained in a letter, because we were using
the free website, as a 'front door' to PSYCHICSPY.COM - untrue, we were storing
specifically, some lengthy docs there, with an appropriate index page showing ALL
content on-site, a stand-alone site, now here as the PSYCHICSPY_2000 webpage ...
So much for free space ... perhaps there were too many hits ;-)
Now we tried AGAIN to get a YAHOO ! listing, dealing with all those silly category
departments - we'll see if submission to YAHOO ! goes any better this time with our
new dedicated server ( psychicspy.com, psychicspy.org, psychicspy.da.ru ) . What
amazes me is that we were listed in every other major search engine for years, from
the 'robots', at the seasurf.com website - perhaps YAHOO ! values it's index as much
as their P/E ratio for the $199 stock - perhaps not worth the paper it's printed on ...
Free Software !
Here is something new for you :
SNOOP.ZIP
This is a nearly free (shareware) program for Windows_95 ... it also runs well under
Windows_98 too ! You've seen the FBI and Private Investigators 'recover' bits of
deleted files from a Hard Drive - now YOU can too ! This program, a little over a
half MB installs from Windows ( setup.exe ) and does several things :
1) The best UNDELETE available for WIN_98 - in case you deleted the WRONG
file ... whoops !!!
2) READ partial data in Hard Drive clusters that haven't been overwritten yet !
3) DESTROY all remnant clusters of a 'deleted' file - ZAP !! (overwrites)
Quite useful beyond the 'snoop' read-only feature - as seen on TV news, your
files aren't really 'deleted', just the Directory Listing (Table of Contents) is zapped
- it's up to YOU to really ERASE those deleted files ! ( or else beware after you
sell that old clunker computer with 'deleted' passwords/files, etc ...
A MANUAL directory-driven version of BCWIPE, it alows you to be your own PC
'snoop detective' - add NeoTrace if you want to 'snoop' on Internet packet paths
from you to say, a website ( with map ) .. hehe
Internet Wars ...
Yes, the Internet Wars still continue, on countless BBS's ( now those Web-based
user FORUMs ) . Word is that Art Bell is enjoying his retirement, and according to
a report from an 80-meter Ham Operator, Art has NO plans to return to broadcasting .
BTW - Wayne Green said, "Ham Radio is Dead !" - We'll see if the new easier-to-
get Licensing adds 'new blood' - it may very well be 'dead' as a hobby ...
Now for something completely different ...
The remainder of this newsletter is devoted to Internet 'Spying', mostly, with some
stories about Locksmithing, Remote Viewing, and Scanner Eavesdropping ... enjoy !
Oddities ...
The oddest item was an anonymous post on the user FORUM about the USS Eldridge
back from Greek shipping, into the Navy's hands, again - salvage from salvage I guess .
When a visitor showed up from SYSTEM135.fwf.navy.mil ( 138.145.125.135 ) which is
the Washington Shipyard where the fameous 'Philadelphia Experiment' ship is now to
be found, the coincidences were too unbelievable ...
For more than two years, most of my links, although up for years, were 'seen' and the
material removed within a week ... I'll no longer 'aid' the DoD's effort to remove all
'sensitive' materials from over 1000 DoD websites - It's not my job ... a quick look at
some Search Engines, like Alta Vista, GovSearch, searchpdf.adobe.com, and the
main 'af.mil' search engine reveal MOST classified documents HAVE been removed, in
accordance with policy from two years ago ... but some has NOT been removed yet
around 10 % still remains for anyone to read as of July 2000, including e-mail from
presumed 'empty' Microsoft Outlook .pdf files even today ... which include in-house
mail, and external PGP encrypted mail as well ...
Below is last month's account of how I use common Internet 'Tools', and knowledge
to find what's on this site ( www.psychicspy.com - or http://seasurf.com/~radioman )
In addition, a psychic component, related to Remote Viewing, helps narrow the many
thousands of search results to a few relevant ones ... Currently, I have a new project :
"serial interface : CEREAL IN-HER-FACE"

The new 'project' is keeping my hands quite busy, literally, for now. While tempted to
'retire' from public view, I'm currently choosing to use my Psychic/Remote Viewing
skills for private projects, and am still available for consulting ...
As you read this newsletter, containing tidbits from the 'Intelligence Community', try
to keep in mind that we all have lives outside of the Internet ... I can recommend the
following NEW books :
The Music of Time -------------by Preston Nichols
Remote Viewing Secrets -- by Joe McMoneagle
Psychic Spies --------------------------- by Jim Marrs
Check Coast-to-Coast audio archives (Windows Media Player Beta) for 7/14/2000
Joe McMoneagle's interview recently . ( www.mceagle.com) ...
Radioman Rates the Talk Show Hosts ...
As an Arbitron Ratings Family (radio) I thought I would
create my own 'ratings' of talk show hosts, based on how
they do and how accessable that they are ...
Here is my own personal list ...
Mike Siegel -*- Seems genuine enough, but too personal on
stories of his oral surgery and church attendance. This new
host of Coast to Coast AM is NOT accessable, via his older
e-mail account : mikesiegel2000@yahoo.com, nor his old
account for the previous radio station in Spokane, WA. We
give him credit for trying hard - and he sounds like it ...
Ian Punnett -*****- An excellent host, for Coast to Coast
AM on Sundays - he does the MOST research for every guest,
and he literally studies each guest's book to generate
questions . He is accessable via punnett@mindspring.com and
will answer each and every e-mail. His hosting takes an
ethical/religious flavor, but his guests are treated well ...
Art Bell -unrated- : Recently retired, Art tried to answer
his e-mail - he can still be reached at artbell@aol.com for
personal mail ( BTW Peter Gersten can be reached also at :
ufolawyer1@aol.com ) They have kept their personal AOL
e-mail accounts, and Art has phoned me (once for 40 minutes
or so off-air) Art has made a great contribution to talk
radio in the past ... hint, hint ... see artbell.com for
something new from Art Bell ...
Whitley Strieber -****- He is genuine and quite accessable
as well at wstrieber@hotmail.com, his non-web personal mail
account. Excellent coverage of his topics ...
David Oates -unrated- Now from Australia -personal friend
so I won't comment other than he interviewed me for three
hours on his National Radio Program, along with guest co-
host Clyde Lewis, from Portland, OR. It was a blast ...
Jeff Rense -****- Also a good host, VERY accessable, via
his published e-mail address at rense.com. His SIGHTINGS
show is now heard here on the remote Oregon Coast, and Jeff
has literally kept in touch with me by e-mail for several
years now, as David Oates has. A must listen ...
Kim Komando -**- Excellent on PCs, but impossible to link
to, and her (deleted) e-mails showed a total lack of net-
work and Internet Security ... sorry ...
Rollye James -***- A host of a different kind, with much
commentary - she's no longer hosting Coast to Coast AM - we
kept in frequent touch, in the beginning, and I offered a
full slate of available guest for her to interview - hope
her new local show gets carried nationally ... her e-mail
address at delphi.com seems dormant ...
Peter Weissbach -****- A good host, but doesn't answer his
e-mail. The Quest is carried nationally, and Peter gets
some of the better guests. Look for it ...
In closing, many syndicated network talk-show hosts do
not receive their e-mail directly - rowlandnet comes to
mind, and some choose to have their webmasters run inter-
ferrence for them. Guests, like Richard Hoagland do as
well, however Mike Bara has always been accessable, and
truly nice ...
Mitch Battros, of Earth Changes TV is accessable, and
available for lunch in Seattle ....
Associated Locksmith's of America Item :
John, President of the Associated Locksmith's of America, had asked me to write a
brief article for the next 'Keynotes' magazine about Locksmithing and the Internet .
I had mentioned that a contractor I knew discarded all his field service manuals in
his van and replaced them with a laptop and a cellular phone - he can retrieve ANY
technical document he'll ever need direct from manufacturers over the 'Net . While
he's a general contractor, the idea was to write a personal perspective of how I use
the Internet in a similar fashion to eliminate the need for tons of technical books ...
Since there is not a similar wealth of resources for Locksmiths currently, and here
on the Oregon Coast, there are few Institutional Locksmiths, too many who do the
'emergency lockout' for a very small population here, and residential locksmithing
is all but dead due to easily available 'keyed alike' new quality locksets available
at several hardware stores, I saw no reason to write that article, sorry ... perhaps
I no longer have a need to belong to an International Trade Guild, like the A.L.O.A.
next year either - most security/CCTV work has fallen into the domain of electronic
techs, and alarm installers these days - while a member of ALOA for nearly a decade,
I sincerely question whether the Professional Locksmith will go the way of the Musical
Instrument Repairman, TV Repairman, and Blacksmith ... a local Goldsmith (Jeweler)
still has full time work here ... I met a Piano Tuner a couple years ago who now does
installation of Piano Disc - an 'electronic' MIDI based Player Piano system which can
be retrofitted to ANY piano with a CPU, floppy drive, and a 'hell of a lot' of piano key
solenoids - it works extremely well and he gets to tune pianos too. The Internet has a
wealth of MIDI piano music for downloading to the Piano Disc, and I belong to a User
Group who trade software/music/tips for it - as well as origional music ... just burned
my first full CD piano music album in May - copies not available yet ...
More news to follow ... from JUNE 2000 :
In an effort to demonstrate my ability in 'Psychic Surfing' - applying psychic tools to
Internet Searches, along with some familiarity with web security and 'tools', I've made
the 'second' psychicspy_2000 website, over the last three months to collect some of
what I've talked about in the past ... The Truth IS Out There, and yes, I'm available
to discuss any server problems you might be having until May ;-)
Here are a couple select items :
The RESTRICTED Archives
NEW: USAF Archives
Keep in mind such searches involve about 5% luck, 20% psychic intuition, 25% 'tools',
and 50% perseverence ... luck we can all understand. The psychic intuition is covered
in this newsletter under 'remote viewing' and in the article on PSYCHIC CONFESSIONS
Info on 'tools' are also covered within this newsletter and the 'RESTRICTED' page too,
and hopefully the need to 'stick with it' will be obvious in this website as this is a 'journal'
of a five year journey into the 'unknown - the 'land of the Internet' ...
Regarding some recent controversy about the NAVY Manuals, remember that the info
is PUBLIC regarding Electronic Warfare, EMP, and Radar. The NAWCWPNS maintains
their Point Mugu website as a public source for Training Manuals, since many NON-
government and non-military personnel need training in areas like Radar Certifications
like the Coast Guard, as well ...
NEW Satellite Photos of AREA 51 ! - ( Russian )
Well after several thousand hits here, I realized that the PSYCHICSPY.COM site
was coming up on searches by TV viewers because of my Visit to AREA 51 web
page ... here are some of the new photos ... the rest are on the main site :
Compare to the older one from 1968 - lots of building in three decades !
More on MIDI ...
Just an update on MIDI - seems the Piano Disc company has just upgraded their
'player piano' software to version 4.0. What this means is that now anyone with a
retrofitted PianoDisc PDS128plus system can now have Internet Access to over
2,000,000 MIDI files on the 'Net. ( see midirobot.com and other MIDI oriented
search engines for where to download MIDI files by title, author, & performer )
With the recent available upgrade PianoDisc now reads MS-DOS disks as well as
their own PianoDisc's and Yahama ... remember to convert all TRACKS to a single
track ( track 0 ) for the Piano to understand the standard MIDI ( mono ) ... use a
freeware program "midi1to0.zip" for conversion of Internet MIDI files, and another
program, "midifmt.zip" will tell you how many tracks are in an unknown MIDI file ...
Someone in England built an interface to 'read' old paper 'player piano' rolls and
convert them, electronically, to MIDI files ... more fun on the way ...we do take
some breaks from all of the 'serious stuff' sometimes ...
More on 'tracing' ...
Q : Can I use Windows_98 (2nd Ed.) to be an 'Internet Spy'?
A : Yes, but keeping in mind that each successive version of Windows,
with it's 'virtual graphical interface' puts you, the user, ever more and more
removed from it's real underlying operating system, MS-DOS ...
Currently the only way to really investigate the 'Net, outside of a UNIX
terminal, is to begin to install all those 'utility' programs, winsock-based,
which will allow you to see what's 'really' going on ...
In addition to a selection of some of the 'older web browsers', like the
Netscape ver 1.22 ( 32 bit ) and Netscape ver 2.01/2.02 ( 32 bit ), you
will need the following in addition to your new Netscape 4.07 / IE and
e-mail program :
A 'Network Neighborhood' DIALER, or other Winsock dial-up
A simple TELNET only program - which produces no 'errors'
A PING program - like WS_PING 32 for sometracing work ...
A FINGER program - like WS_FINGER 32 for port 79 queries
A Chat program, like the mIRC program for 'keeping in touch'
A WS_FTP program for FTP Upload/Downloads ( 32 bit ) ...
A good 'mass mailer' e-mail program : Pegasus 3.12c for lists
HTML Editor, like HTML Assistant Pro for viewing ALL files !
NSL - a ping/route traffic and networf testing program ...
WS_WATCH - another free Winsock monitor program ...
Multiple disk program ( DiskSpan ) to break-up large files
FireEyes - a ports usage (port 137-139) monitor program
You can even purchase an excellent program - NeoTrace, to do
some automated ping/trace and DNS whois lookup and give a log
and an actual map output ! Choice of the FBI and other agencies...
Remember that the windows operating system, as a virtual interface
removes you from seeing what is 'really' happening in Internet trace
and connections, 'whois' servers, and all those embedded 'commands'
in HTML and text documents your browser ignores ! Be prepared, and
USE the tools to see for yourself what is REALLY there ...
I've added a 'PSYCHIC CONFESSIONS' section at :
Psychic Tells All
I'm hoping this will enlighten you that we are ALL psychic in some ways ...
here's the latest story about Waco, TX and a chat room ...
Topic: WACO REBUILT : A Psychic Reveals ...
Tue Apr 4, 2000 3:33 pm
(name deleted)
WACO IS REBUILT !
"... On another item, Waco Texas -- I've added another 24 links to
PSYCHICSPY.COM today, and the Waco one is interesting :
I was on a chat-room discussing general things last Saturday,
and someone named "TwoKnives" dropped in. He knew the lady I
was talking to, and had been following our 'psychic' conversation
for a while. It had been discussed that I had registered my website
as a 'news service' and had added Ordained Minister to my credentials,
as the topic had centered on psychics and law enforcement that day.
My friend and I were quite absorbed in the topic, and I was giving
her a 'reading' over the internet when 'TwoKnives' said hello ...
Being in a 'reading state of mind', I was aware that he wanted to
say something. I sensed a familiarity, and he told me that he was a
minister as well. My friend left after telling me that I used the
chat-room as an excuse, and I wasn't there to 'spread gossip', but to
'find direction', and other spiritual purposes, under the guise of 'chat'.
TwoKnives answered that he would again be working on rebuilding the
church this weekend. He seemed to want some reaction from me. I told
him that I wasn't aware of his project, nor did I know where his website
was. We exchanged website URLs and knowing my chat program would
save that web address, I told him I'd look at it later on. I sensed that he
wanted a 'reading', so I began ...
I told him I saw a 'community center' rather than a church. He assured
me that it actually WAS a church they were rebuilding. I added that it
either would be a 'focal point for the community' a 'meeting place' and
more than just a traditional church. He seemed pleased, but offered no
details. I added that he was discouraged lately. He agreed, and I said
that 'soon' that there would be a great deal of interest in his church. He
said that the town was 'gone', and the only remaining building was part
of this church, so they were rebuilding it from there. I said that I lived in
a remote part of Oregon, and I could sympathise with small local 'projects'.
Again, he added nothing. Seemed 'TwoKnives' might perhaps be a Native
American, but I would be just guessing from his 'handle'.
I went on to assure him that there would be great interest in this re-
built church, from people OUTSIDE his local community, and that in add-
ition there would be outside funds becoming available too. He seemed
more encouraged, and admitted that working on the construction was
somewhat depressing without too many 'helpers' and supplies. I again
'saw' quite clearly, a 'community center', a 'focal point' for those who
live near there, and that something good would result from all their
efforts - and they would not be unappreciated ... "
" Later I checked out the website :
http://skyhouse.home.texas.net/waco.html"
"I was very surprised to see that the site of this rebuilt church, is the
Dividian property, in Waco, Texas, and the photos nearly show his
description that 'nothing remained' of the town, just part of the church
building. It was THE place destroyed in WACO, TX that we all saw on TV
news after the tradgedy ... the news item is that the church, and the town
there are being rebuilt, with donations from around the world, according to
their website. Small world ..."
"73's radioman
www.psychicspy.com"
and the reply to my e-mail :
"Way weird! Did you get the goose bumps from that one? Once in a blue moon
I will go online and chat but not too often. I read an interesting e-mail from a
friend yesterday and she told a story about a young girl who was on-line with
someone who gathered all her information from conversations about her after-
school activities. The man was able to find out where she went to school,
which baseball team she played for etc... He was suppodedly a policeman
and came to teach her a lesson (who knows how true it is) but it shows how
far we are coming along in this area!! "(name deleted)
"Truth is stranger than Fiction ... Art Bell is stranger
than both ... " - from Spokane, WA
"radioman is stranger than all of them ..."
^^^
What an interesting year it has been so far ...
I've been on a quest, it seems, for credentials ... perhaps it results from the few
critics I've had, or just a need for more education. Now having finished my training
as a Third Degree Reiki Master (III), and a recently Ordained Minister, I can add all
that to registered/bonded Locksmith and the other credentials I've accumulated so
far. Recently I've added a lot of new links about telephones - and I should add that
every future 'spy' out there should be well trained in Locksmithing, Psychic Remote
Viewing, and Telephone Tapping, although I have been acquiring those skills for
some quite unrelated reasons ... and it never hurts to have computer expertise in
this 'new age' as well as some more traditional 'new age' skills ;-)
Much I can't talk about again this month, with flurries of e-mails about more private
matters. One public area is the US Psi Squad ( www.uspsisquad.com ) is now the
second National Police Organization to link to the resources here, of The SPYder
Web News and PSYCHICSPY.COM -- long noted as a favorite 'computerist' site, and
recently the first to publish, under F.O.I.A. the new FBI newsletter ( for the National
Infrastructure Protection Center ) among other items. Users still include some Military
Intelligence Analysts ( Quantico, VA ), Talk Show Hosts ( Rollye James ), and psychic
Law Enforcement folk ( uspsisquad.com ) & Remote Viewers ( Joni Dourif- PSI TECH )
among the users ... "it's a small world after all" ... and now on to some News :
News from the Front Desk ...
Welcome to the Year 2000 ... or the year 1980 on NON-upgraded Windows_95, or
the year '100' according to Microsoft's MSDOS ... pick a number ... hehe
Check out the UPDATED Y2K page on the Main Site :
HERE
The NEW PSYCHICSPY_2000 website has a photo of U2s at Area 51 ( Groom Lake )
in Nevada, sitting by the runway. ( 1960s ) Thanks to Beale Air Force Base having
a photo on the wall donated by a Lockheed retiree - check it out !
ALSO : a newer satellite photo of AREA 51, as opposed to the old one from 1968 ...
The newer photo, from 1994 clearly shows a massive amount of new buildings at
the 'Groom Lake' base ... that, of course, don't officially exist ...
That 3 hour interview of 'radioman' by Clyde Lewis / David Oates was broadcast
on December 3, 1999 on the 'Equity Network' !
Year 2000 - the Year of the Grumpy ?
Looking back over the first month, if there are no Earth Changes, like climate, or a
polar shift going on ( NOT ... ), then certainly there are changes going on in people.
Many locals were disappointed in the fizzle of the 'Y2K bug' - which was due mostly
to all the upgrades/preparations turning Y2K into a non-event :-)
Still the grumpies prevail, unhappy with anything other than the local politics, which
is one of the areas beyond their control, actually ... there have been lawsuits, bogus
press releases, and a scurry for talk show guests - another words business-as-usual ...
As a credit to Art Bell and Mitch Battros, the Internet still provides news stories some
24 hours in advance - enough time to beat the Newspapers who choose to delay the
wire service 'feeds', and allow Art Bell, Mitch Battros and others to have timely stuff
on radio / TV BEFORE the mainstream news media ( TV news / print ) usually ... a
good use for the Internet, in my opinion, as do I have stories in advance at times too.
Perhaps e-commerce is a giant farce ... the Internet, inherited from a Military project,
and a way for scientists/teachers to trade papers initially, is now the subject of the
new 'silly' marketing plans : First, get an old University mainframe, secondly create
some lame software for it and connect to the Internet. Then give away a marginally
useful 'free service' to thousands, collect sponcers & advertisers to pay/rent space
for 'banner ads', then quickly sell of the 'service' to the unsuspecting for real dollars
and retire ... or the newest plan : take photos of businesses, create cheap web sites
for 'free' and attack the merchants for 'rent' for 'their' new site, quick, before anyone
realizes that there are 380+ million sites on search engines, including countless sites
for 'mini-malls' doing the same thing - all with an appropriate 'mini-impact' on world
commerce as well ... lets hope the year turns into something better & more useful .

any information on the animal implants that run at 125 KHz ? We try to answer any

Here is an excerpt from a recent e-mail from Patty regarding her recent
appearence on Coast-to-Coast : NOTE - I disconnect the bell at night ;-)
"I was in a sound sleep and heard the phone ringing and ringing. I got
up, answered and who was on the other end at 3:30 am New York Time?
Art Bell and he asked if I wanted to come on the air now and discuss Plum
Island. So, I said yes, ran down stairs, splashed some cold water on my
face, put on the coffee pot, poured a picture of water, dragged in the
rocking chair from the living room to the computer room by the phone,
went back and poured the coffee. Heard the music and went on the air ... "

with black box projects in the past, so I know what is involved."
"I'm not worried about what or who may visit, I feel that the information

My apologies to those wanting to read the story ( 185 pps ) about

did. Perviously I had permission to put it up ( he sent it to me ... )
Below is the 'explanation' of what happened ... I offered to link to

about parapsychology, and it ended with some excellent disclosure
material about the 17 different ET alien races that colonized Earth ...
" ... As to Ed Dames, I support his activities wholeheartedly, and no other
remote viewing system out there is as good as his. The 'take' on Ed in the

"It was really a spoof piece more than a reality piece with real world
elements and characters thrown in, since everybody is such a contentious
bunch. Since the work product was done more for a laugh than attempting to
apply for a job! This truly was an exercise in fantasm logic, nothing more,
for Halloween. If it squares or triangulates with the truth, well then, at
least let it said there was no TRV applied in the assumptions gathering
process, but that if people want to find the real truth out, please have
them get the TRV PsiTech tape home study program ... "

Interesting tip, unfortunately I can't access the website - this post by George Hodgson
says it best ...
=================
Synopsis:
1. Radioman received an email from someone at brooks.af.mil suggesting he visit a
website to view the information contained therein.
2. The site www.brooks.af.mil/SGRD/usamrd.htm is accessible but all the links are
403'd because the server didn't like the calling IP. Usually this means the calling IP
is not on a list of approved IPs that can normally access the material.
3. So the question is - was the block placed before or after Radioman received that
email. I checked the creation/modification date of the main page and it was last
changed on 9 June, 1999. But who knows...
4. A further check of www.brooks.af.mil shows no links to the SGRD page. Interest-
ing as well.
I'll let all of you know of any updates ... that subdirectory doesn't 'exist' either...

David Oates Speaks Out !
For the first time in a long time, David Oates speaks out - he re-posted a post that
I had made regarding what we discussed via phone in Montana recently ... David had
said the same day, ( BBS ) :
"In all seriousness, I have seen classified documents and technical designs & have
been told things today, that have literally left me trembling.
I had no idea we were this far advanced or knew the things we know. I have been
literally changed forever ... " - this was in reference to a meeting with Robert A.M.
Stephens, re : NASA, etc. and he did NOT elaborate on this during our brief phone
conversation.
"I can never go back to mainstream life. My entire world view has just been changed
forever ... Star Trek is not mere fiction."
This message, posted on Sat June 12, 1999 was one of the reasons I phoned him the
same day ... the number was posted on the Internet. What he DID choose to talk about
was more on the information that, as said in an X-Zone interview, un-aired, that "Oates
and his family keep on the move to avoid the death threats that they keep receiving
which have been reported to the F.B.I. ... the same US government agency that Oates
claims that told him if he was to let Reverse Speech Technology get into the public ...
that he would suffer severe consequences ... "
he didn't specifically elaborate on much of the specifics, rather, I enquired as to how
he was doing, and he said not all that well ... below is the repost he made of my post-
ing of what we discussed briefly. Rumors were he headed back to Denver, but the I.P
indicates that he was still travelling around. My concerns were for his health, state of
mind, and the future of Reverse Speech ... he's "OK", but reverse speech may not
recover from this pending lawsuit, as a business enterprise. I have no idea of his
current whereabouts, nor do I expect to hear from him. It was a chance that I phoned
the Internet number in Montana, and he WAS there briefly, and simply wanted everyone
to know he's "OK" ...
Before Art Bell, there was ...
The Metaphysical Net carried on 2 meter Ham Radio Repeaters throughout
Calif., Nevada, and Arizona - for fun. It was started by my buddy, Jim, who practiced
long-term out-of-body astral projection, and our 'net' discussions included hauntings,
ghosts, and anything even remotely paranormal. Origionally it was hosted by the local
Phone Company, who got so afraid, they pulled the power on the mountain-top
repeater site ! Eventually, unlike my three year FM radio show, our ham 'net' began
to 'float' from frequency to frequency - it ran nearly every night, ALL night, and we
decided 'psychically' which channel to use. For the non-psychic among us, scanners
helped find where we landed, and scanners also allowed those who 'networked' us
in three states to find the conversations, and link us through to the next site. A blast
in 'old time radio' in the sense of it was live storytelling, unrehearsed, and as enter-
taining as dramatic radio plays of yesteryear !
More from 'Hal Russell' ...
Sat Apr 17 13:48:49 1999
Hal Russell (halrussell@hotmail.com) the Naval Electronic Warfare expert
writes:
"You have to dig for info on the large slow-moving triangle--it's on
the FAS site, (see below) but not all in one place. It is (was?) a mobile IR
sensor array for SDI, the triangular shape dictated by the shape of
the array, the size dictated by the amount of lift required to carry
the array and the super-cooling systems. And, originally, it was
remotely controlled, so helicopters often accompanied it. It also had
a sophisticated pumping arrangement such that the helium could be
pumped to one area or another to tilt the whole array--to point it.
The reason it was mobile was to get it away from clouds--clouds can
diminish the IR detection accuracy."
Radioman's Identity Revealed ?!? - try again !

resemblance is uncanny, the photo is of Lew Rockwell, NOT radioman. I wonder who
is in Florida, with a lot of time on their hands, at Kinko's Copies ? Hoagland perhaps ?

but not this time ...

DoD NEWS from 'Hal' :
UPDATE 3/99 :
CAUS received a letter from Hal Russell with the following I.D. :
"- Naval Air Warfare Center-Weapons Division, Point Mugu California,"
"- Radar and electronic warfare specialist."
(All members of the group use the same e-mail address. The leading
spokesperson is known as Hal Russell (halrussell@hotmail.com)
Received January 26:
Because (I prefer that spelling) I work for the ENEMY, the Department
of Defense, there are still things I can't speak about, and things that
your FOIA campaign will not be able to reveal. Some things are exempt!
Surely, you weren't thinking about the craft at NAWC that we keep in the
hangar until it's night time--a craft that I could take no one to see
without being shot, yet I sat my 3 yr. old grandson in its cockpit!
Alien craft, please! They are unknown, if you don't know what they
are, not alien. But then an Air Canada flight is alien, not being from
the US! Remember, it was the Canadians (non US citizens, therefore,
aliens) who gave that saucer to the USAF!
There are legitimate needs for secrecy. There is also a lot of
stuff--some of what you seek--that has been recently declassified but,
being declassified, doesn't mean that the material is in the public
domain.
You are dealing with 'weasel-wording' experts! When you tightly
define what you are demanding with the FOIA, you are giving them what
they want--they can deny with no pangs of conscience.
Received January 27:
Of course government is not out to protect the individual--it's
similar to what I learned a few years ago when I sought to sue the LAPD
to change their motto: 'To Protect and Serve.' They weren't speaking of
the individual, but the community at large. Government's vested
interest is to protect itself, and in the case of America, without
citizens, there wouldn't be a country. The government will do what it
needs to do to protect the integrity of the country, without putting
it's methods to a vote, and some actions and capabilities will remain a
secret.
You mentioned the Vietnam war and the Gulf war--different rules exist
in war time. There can be flagrant disregard for human life during the
prosecution of a war.
What harm has come to people from our low-flying aircraft? OK, some
got hysterical, but these were the ones that would get hysterical about
seeing a series of lights, or even the planet Venus. If they knew what
these craft were, they'd still get hysterical. Who owns the space above
your head? As long as no criminal laws are being broken, our secret
aircraft will continue to fly, low at times, very high at other
times--it doesn't make any difference! The government has the right to
fly anywhere it damn well pleases!
I've seen the drawings of the triangular craft on the CAUS site. Is
that the best you have? I would love to see one of your videos, but I
don't think you have a real one as our craft are a dull, non-reflective
dark grey color, without visible markings, (they have ID's that respond
to the proper RF interrogation, similar to the old IFF systems) and
they are flown at night.
Good luck seeing one! I almost walked into the side of one in the
desert, one moonless night; it had landed where it wasn't supposed to
and I walked over in that direction, curious that I couldn't see our
theodolite anymore--something was blocking the view. I would love to
see one other than on a test range, in order to see what is so
frightening about them.
All I'm prepared to say about the triangles is that they're flown by
friendlies. Leave it alone, go back inside and watch TV! I delivered
this same message (in person) to some folks at the UFO Research Center
in Roswell, in October of last year. No, I don't dress in black!
Trust us, we'll protect you, but we'll do it our way and without
asking for your permission!
Of course I know that you must keep up the pressure on the government
to release nonexistent documents, in that way perpetuating the hype
about the evil government secret-keepers, you must keep the interest up,
because that is where the $$ are--books, lecture series, etc. Do you
want one of us (this is not the email address of one person) to come
with you and do a point, counterpoint lecture. I (we) think not!
Hal, and others
The UPDATE :

Hi Peter :
I sent a silly e-mail to 'HAL' and got a reply - now I have their
'header - here's what I found ... As anticipated, the referenced
NAWC ( Naval Air Warfare Center ) is NOT Pentagon ... I've had
hundreds of traced military visitors, and the domain doesn't match.
There are two main centers - the Navy's 'AREA 51'
mulder1.chinalake.navy.mil
scully.mugu.navy.mil
Normally Pentagon for Air Force is something.hq.af.mil, etc. In the
case of the Navy - this is NOT Pentagon - it IS :
143.113.1.2
administrative, node 1, 'terminal2' of
Naval Air Warfare Center
Pt. Mugu, CA
scully.mugu.navy.mil
SMNM2-HST
13th St.
Bldg 50
Rm 1213
They are the 'real deal' according to the header. The 'command' is at :
nawcwpns.navy.mil
and is elsewhere ...
Pt. Mugu is one of two facilities for design/testing of experimental
craft, etc. - the other being chinalake, CA - with the large airstrips ...
Pt. Mugu has the highest security of any Navy server, and e-mail
for personal reasons, even through 'hotmail' is forbidden.
Both Mugu and China Lake use the NAWCWPNS site a lot. A link
is at :
http://seasurf.com/~radioman/tech.html
The link is to the 'non-public' side of the webserver which houses
administrative records, including daily access logs, and monthly
log stats for users. This differs from the jcs.mil private intranet. The
link is current to last months users stats, broken down by reverse
subdomain, date/time/page visited, etc. It is informative, and
references to a 'classified' side of that server is /jcim/ - which is
not publically accessable via a web browser, but you can see the
docs named, and who last viewed them.
The Pentagon has a directive to have all web servers remove
classified/restricted/sensitive docs from their servers - not all have
complied so far. We continue to monitor MUGU and other nodes,
such as Kelly Air Force Base for their non-complainance. Be sure
to use a proxy/firewall in viewing any /admin/ files, or user logs
system stats ( monthly ) as YOU will be logged in the next batch
run ,,,

A Thought from Ellie Crystal
Triggers for awakening:
Something with a "bear' symbol
Pegasus (the horse)
Return of Nibiru or a planetoid like that--the program will release it
An Eskimo
Unusual heiroglyph containing images of women with
Egyptian style attire standing in profile
Something that resembles a banana with 'wings'
Sekhmet and symbols of cats.
'Bubbles' of eneries spiraling upward
The numbers we have discussed: 11:11, 12:12, 555, 53
Strange tones from 'space' created by the collapsing of the grid harmonics
Remote Viewing :
While I believe remote viewing and reverse speech are simply clairvoyance, and
clairaudience phenomena - the debates in remote viewing continue : can it be used
for medical and other uses ? According to Prudence Calabrese :
She ( Calabrese ) thinks the military deliberately misled them (STARGATE) about
the power of all this. The military did not want their viewers to really know what the
target was so they taught a crippled technique. She says her group and other groups
doing this see a completely different future over the next few months than Dames does.
"See, it's not the actual 'system' or 'protocols' that are important - it's the process by
which you remote view. Heck, you could remote view using a cockroach and two
sticks if you understand the process by which you access the data ..."

Reed Alien Story
Fri Nov 27 06:29:02 1998
Well, Dr. Reed, the dead alien man, will not be coming on my show as I had hoped.
I guess the prospect of being reversed was just a little too much. Not surprised! I've
just been reviewing reversals that have been sent to me from three different people
all of which showing that the entire story is a total con - not even a delusion or a
crazy man believing his own fantasy - but a deliberate and contrived fabrication.
I'm prepping the reversals and will issue a press release in the next day or so de-
bunking the story.

Evidence ???
Fri Nov 27 17:14:28 1998
I'm glad you found reversals ... stress analysis of his voice shows Reed to be
seriously upset. AND even Art Bell admits the photographic evidence is massive.
Whitley's friends will analyse the negatives. Dames has yet to release his findings
... Total con ? Perhaps .. but it seems you are now the one 'opposite' view - glad
it's not me again ...

I was also the only one...
Fri Nov 27 18:00:37 1998
..with the opposite point of view with the Kent color photos of Mars. Bell, Hoagland
and most other people were believing his story - I came out against it and Kent
subsequetly confessed live on the air. Pissed Art off - go and listen to the archives,
he was very reluctant to have me on and very reluctant to admit the con
Trouble is everyone are sheep - desperately wanting to grab onto any conspiracy that
might boost their boring lives.
The photos are genuine and they will show themselves to be so - its the alien and the
obelisk that are fakes - they were made and transported to the scene according to
the reversals - his voice is highly stressed, the reversals say he is uinder great stress
- great stress cos he has a lot of money riding on this if his con is believed.
Reversals will be posted on my site before tomorrow's night show.
David (Oates)
PS - we're still waiting for the dames analysis - the same Dames that said the stock
market would crash in april, and 300 mile an hour winds would ravage the nation
and plant pathogens from Hale Bopp would kill us all, and sometyhing is coming to
life on Mars .... oh, I see - I'm really holding my breatnh on that one!
How come art has on everyone on whos track record is appalling and holds them up
as messengers of truth but will not have me on whos track record is batting close to
100% so far. Me thinks something is very fishy here!

Wow!! We're in agreement???
Fri Nov 27 18:55:12 1998
I'm impressed. Its not me, BTW, whos making sense - I'm just relaying the message
of the reversals - and you should know that I went into this believing it was a true tale
- one of my best friends is the contact person on this one (Rob Baldwin) and he was
telling me beforehand that he knows people who have done reversals on it and said
it was a true story - so that was the bias I went in on.
And I know my
attitude towards things has changed a lot lately but for the last two and a half years
I was towing the Art Bell party line, and lately not daring to say much cos the wrath
of Bell would fall upon me - but NOW, I am totally free that whole crowd and can
finally call things exactly as I see them without fear of political outcast.
Hell, I'm an outcast now - one of the few voices shouting truth in a sea of confusion,
and I don't even have to be worried about being banned from the Bell show.
Such freedom - I LOVE IT!!!!
hehehehehe

Is 'radioman' a disinformation agent for the intelligence community ?
Here it is, for those who wanted to know. I may have actually been an unwilling
participant in a government disinformation program to discredit David Oates ! A
lot has been going on lately, and I'm getting tired of cryptic e-mails like "Do you
have the Red Book ? You know what I mean." No, I don't know what you mean,
but I'm sure the NSA monitoring program (ECHELON) is trying to decode that
one ... And yesterday N.A.T.O. Command was at my site ( comsun11.nc3a.nato.int ).
And 'phikent', one of the suspected EQ Pegasi hoaxers keeps making 'Nibiru'
posts ... What's going on ?
Other oddities - a visit from Wright-Patterson AFB, and USMC Intelligence ( see
letter below ), in addition to the usual 'visitors'. Seems that the latest rumor is that
when the F.C.C. discontinued the '10 watt educational' brodcast license, that the
number of 'pirate', or bootleg radio stations increased. They ( FCC ) now have plans
to 're-instate' a low-power license only in an attempt to catch some of the 'pirates'.
Guess no amnesty for free brodcasters ...
I got several strange e-mails, one offering me 'classified government documents' that
I could put up on the website. Including some from SIPR-net ... all 'incoming' is quite
suspicious on my end now. If anyone has any info on 'Dec 7th', or EQ Pegasi, or on
'General 'A', go ahead and contact me. Anything on Dames' predictions, ditto. Real
hard evidence always preferable. Rumors can be sent directly to Art Bell ...
Speaking of rumors, if there is a 'landing' near December 7th, it would be a 'bit' more
North of Phoenix, to be exact. There is a VERY secure Air Force 'range' just north of
Sedona, AZ, complete with 'anomolies', and vastness for 'hiding' such an event ...

To whom it may concern,
I'm currently an intelligence analyst for the Marine Corps.
This is an awsome site. It really has helped me in researching
for briefs and finding places of possible employment after the
Corps. Thanks for creating it.

UPDATE : CIA - Diana Murder

Hi :
Here's the 'document' mentioned by Jeff Rense, on CIA/British Intelligence on
Princess Diana's murder : seen HERE for the first time ...

I believe that this is factual and it is ashame that the public are not fully made
aware of this little snippet of info. It does implicate the invovlements of both
govermnet intel agencies in both the US and Britain. I would futher indicate that
the french govt had a hand in this conspiracy also.
Is this real ? You decide ... (The CIA ( relay1.ucia.gov ) did visit several times,
followed by monthly visits, and *did* read the origional post months ago about
supposed CIA involvement in Diana's death.)

Brits Military Hacked !
Tue Sep 22 18:51:34 1998
A computer hacker has broken into a top-secret file
containing Britain's military secrets.ÊDefence
chiefs are so alarmed they have asked American spy
chiefs at the Pentagon to help trace the culprit.
And Defence Secretary George Robertson has ordered a
top-level investigation. The hacker was able to see
details of battle plans and the locations of
nuclear missile bases, details of arms caches in
Northern Ireland and personal details of top military
personnel. It is understood the hacker gained
access to the secret section of the MoD's 'DAWN'
database - just two levels down from the highest
security. He was exposed when he tried to go up a
level and gave the wrong password. Insiders say
the MoD's own magazine Focus might have inadvertently
aided the hacker by publishing details of
the DAWN system for the first time. Last night a
senior MoD source said: One theory is that the
hacker was a former employee. If this is the case
any information could easily be sold to a foreign
power."An MoD spokesman said: "The DAWN system has
many safeguards to prevent people gaining access.
We have every confidence in those safeguards."

screwed up. let them know i was here. cockpit lights visible from approx
100 ft.. Not sure why they are here. I did my time. Heard stories of the
black choppers with no sound. True they have little sound. I was not
dreaming. Horses going wild. Cows little concern.. But i saw what i saw.
Just thought i would let someone know.. CMOA. Don't need this here. .

Perhaps the 'MOSAIC' theory proposed by the Air Force as a defense of 'materials'
at Area 51 is justified. Using 'ping', 'finger' ( said by D.O.D. to be the single most
'dangerous' Internet tool for extracing information ), Telnet to Port 79 ( finger ), all
the 'whois' DNS servers, Telnet Port 25 SMTP mail servers, etc. will eventually allow
one to acquire information on employees, offices, phone numbers and the like for any
Military/Gov't agency, and anyone else on the 'Net. ( Not to mention all those on-line
government employee email databases ... ) While none of the information is all that
revealing, in and of itself, the 'mosaic' theory says that IF you collect enough small
pieces, you can create an intelligence profile ... perhaps - this all came from court
records while trying to re-classify the 'security manual' for Area 51 which mentions
a 'painting facility' for vehicles. It was construed to be an indirect admission that
there are 'toxic' chemicals at Area 51 ... (paint solvents) - big whoppie ...
What an exciting time to be 'connected' ! Jeff Rense's radio show, now over the 'Net,
SIGHTINGS, is growing ... tons of 'restricted' documents are becoming available
on the Internet, many are publishing their User Logs, so we can see who is really
'surfing the net' ( hint : Uncle Sam ! ) . More tools daily are going on-line for those
who want a 'do-it-yourself' Internet based detective agency, more hacking and
security tools added daily, and more info on MIBs and UFOs than ever before !
Even governments/militaries need their daily Internet 'stats' to see just how well
'they' are doing in the 'Net press . Hang on ! UFO reports over USAF base in Japan,
and more ! More Military security, more server resources, proxy information, and more
of what YOU requested to see ! Hundreds of web pages to follow ...
seems SETI@home, one of several remnents left of of the origional S.E.T.I.
may have found a way to fundraise. Over '110,000' internet users signed up for
'software' to 'help SETI'. This software claims to do overnight batch processing
of SETI data on each individual computer. What you 'see' is just a SETI screen-
saver. Is it real ? The online registration form no longer works, so I can't 'sign up',
AND the fine print requires everyone to be a MEMBER ( and pay a membership
fee ). Is this the greatest scam on the Internet ? How do all of these raw data
batch transfers work ? Has anyone seen the actual software ? Hmmm ...
My friend Dr. Kent Cullers is continuing the 'real' SETI work, and tells me that the
'Contact' movie helped them in their private fundraising. Dr Greer's CSETI contact-
ed me as well - seems they are so pissed at the Pentagon, that they
PUBLISH their complete daily user logs, including their multitude of .gov/.mil
visitors ! ( see link on The SPYder Web ) We thank CSETI for their openess ...
Remote Viewing ? : Seems that Major Ed Dames is getting bad press lately, and
bad reversals from David Oates. If you're interested in Remote Viewing, read
"MIND TREK" from Joe McMoneagle, one of the Project STARGATE remote
viewers. Really good do-it-yourself info, with NO classes to sign up for - and -
check out the origional MILITARY Remote Viewing Training Manual ( see link
on The SPYder Web ) NOTE : The Army Research Lab has 'pulled' their entire
site off-line : "Public Access is no longer granted to this site ... "
Is remote viewing a hoax ? I don't believe so, based on personal experience -
but some of the players, may not be what they actually do represent them-
selves to be ... SETI was, and under Kent Cullers, IS a viable program. CSETI
has an admirable, in my opinion, political objective. SETI@home remains a
mystery until someone can show me otherwise. It would be a shame if a fund-
raising plan scams Internet users into thinking that they are actually helping
do active research ...
Dr. Kent Cullers, SETI head, has confirmed that his S.E.T.I. group is the surviving
SETI group. ( Kent was origionally scheduled to play 'himself' in the 'CONTACT'
movie ! ) The seti@home may be a legitimate group too, since the ending of fed-
eral funding, many went their own way. It appears connected to UC Berkeley - at
least web wise. I have no additional info. - the online website is still not taking
furthur 'applications' - and the software should be available by now. I'm personally
questioning the data sifting usage on 110,000 P.C.s vs the problems batching/
uploading/retriving data that would need to be done - then the reassembly/inter-
pretations. Automated logon Internet FTP could provide a viable vehicle, however
hard drive size limitations could stretch your individual P.C. to the max. The more
likely explanation is that it's just a screensaver, and your monitary donation 'actually'
helps do actual research by others indirectly. If this is the case, then this 'premium'
for a donation should be advertised as such. If anyone has actually 'seen' this
software, please contact me. Thanks.

The FBI Webserver :
With our mention of the 'holes' in the FBI's webserver many months ago, we
now have feedback that, in fact, they have *fixed* the bugs - as stated in the news-
letter, with all the clever 'foipa' subdirectories, the 'missing' index.html pages allowed
anyone to 'see' the total contents of each subdirectory - now with an error page
inserted in each sub-directory, the problem was repaired ... and the FTP web server's
name was deleted as well ...
The CIA Telnet server :
Also *fixed* - the telnet logon now is encrypted, with double echo characters from
terminal, which can be deleted by backarrow with spaces, and foreward covered
with CCCs and EEEs over text - presumably more secure ... had they never visited my
website, their return telnet address might never have been known ! Only one of three
listed Telnet servers remains active ...
Kirtland AFB removes Telnet !
We can assume this happens regularly, and that it's active again under a 'different'
DNS domain ... again telnet://kirtland-gw.af.mil is OFFLINE ...
Kelly AFB has also removed it's other webserver :
While www.kelly.af.mil was 'restricted' by excluding certain DNS users, it's kellyweb01
server is ALSO offline ... to those wanting to see the aerial photo of the Air Force base,
it's 'gone' too ...
In absense of the photo of Kelly AFB, there are many photos of Grand Forks AFB
in North Dakota ... they have a QUALITY website, as do most other AF bases with
lots of information, photos, and maps on their homepages ...
It DOES seem a little odd that Grand Forks has 1,000 registered DNS domain names
... I was visited by 'snowwhite.grandforks.af.mil' - today - but that's a future story ...
AP and Chicago Sun 'run' PCCIP stories :
After the newsletter went out in e-mail form, the Sun, and later, the Associated Press
carried follow-up stories on PCCIP, in present time - as well as major wire service
coverage of the Senate committee hearings where the head of the CIA, and the head
of the NSA made their 'report' on the critical infrastructure, and recommendations ...
We never disagreed about the 'hacking' problem, only the political nature of the
PCCIP to use '50s' scare tactics to acquire budgets ?
In conclusion, with no federal/military visitors of any kind in several weeks, it would
appear that Operation FedWatch is now over ... or is it ?
NEW ITEMS :
Here's a photo of an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle - which is more than just a prototype
- it's actually in production by ITC Corp :
SPECS : 250 lbs. weight total, diameter = 6.5 feet, max. altitude = 8000 feet,
complete with (radio) remote control, remote video camera, and on-board GPS unit !
Primary use : military
Other uses, surveillance, search and rescue, etc. ( see link : * Military UAV :
CYPHER *)
Norio Hayakawa had sent me an Air Force directive regarding aerial testing of weapons
deployment of chem/biological warfare at Nellis Range using some UAVs last December.
Here, for the first time, is an actual photo from the contractor who builds some of these
generic 'UFO's ... price per unit - UNKNOWN ...
'snowwhite' RE-ACTIVATES Operation FedWatch !
Tue Jul 14 13:18:26 1998
*Operation FedWatch has been re-activated !*
After nearly three weeks of NO fed/military intelligence
visitors - within a day of my announcement of the
suspension of Operation FedWatch - a visit by :
snowwhite.grandforks.af.mil provides grounds for
re-activation. First : this 'proves' that government
has been 'hiding' behind proxy servers and untracable
DNS servers, and secondly, this obscure AF base in
North Dakota has 1,000 listed DNS servers, with
996 active ! Significantly more DNS domains than the
250 DNS domains held by the N.S.A. !
NOTE : By a deliberate attempt by Air Force Intelligence
at Kelly AFB by their placing new CLASSIFIED material
on their website ( regional Kirtland AFB says
NO classified materials on website ! ) We feel
that this is an effort to discredit Operation FedWatch's
efforts to have NO classified material LINKS ...
In addition, the British Government and others continue to visit this website, so
continued visitor tracking will remain in effect ...
AND there has website abuse from : 170.143.108.91 identified as coming from :
State of Tennessee ( NETBLK-TNNET )
Department of Finance and Administration
Office for Information Resources
(street, phone - deleted)
Nashville, TN 37243
Interesting to note that the administrator (???) is Scott Bush, whose e-mail address
at : sbush@mail.state.tn.us is NON-existant ... hmmm ...
Thu Jul 30 12:20:28 1998
Who wants to know ? Among all the e-mail wanting to know if Elvis' ashes are
added to a popular breakfast cereal for mind control, occasionally a good letter
pops up ... does the CIA use Federal Express for a 'hidden agenda' ? A brief look
at the link, which IS down, prompted me to see what web 'presense' currently exists.
Once known for having on-line package tracking, there's no current web site. More-
over, the InterNIC registration reveals a P.O. Box as the return address ! We did
find an active server for FTP as fedex.com, but even that was odd ... essentially
abandoned, like all else, there were no 'pub' files, and practically nothing there,
except 'incoming' ... hmmm ...
The 'ls' file, which is normally NOT accessable in a properly working set-up ( used
as bin/ls - the 'listing' program for anon. FTP ) indicated that it was a :
Sun OS 5.5.1 Generic
Yet, even this is untrue, since the usual /etc/group file, and others were missing ...
One guess is that all FedEX web servers are down, or removed, and the FTP site was
neglected. Yet, this really makes no sense at all ...
The anonymous e-
mailer says he's researching the FedEX / CIA connection, and has evidence ...
does the CIA control FedEX ... Who's to say ?
The Mark of the Beast ?
Dr. Charles Sanders is the lead project engineer for the original bio-medical
chips that were implanted into people for medical reasons. These chips
were converted from medical technology to ID technology. During that develop-
mental process, Dr. Sanders was invited to sit with Henry Kissinger, while they
discussed the potential identification of five billion people on earth. In a
conversation with Sanders, Kissinger said, "We cannot control unless we
can identify everybody on earth."
There is a computer chip that is 1/4 inch long. (The size of a grain of rice.)
This chip, #BT952000, is called the "Emergency Intrusive Identification Locator".
This glass tube has 250,000 electronic components in it. It is a super sophisticated
multi layered micro processor which is both a transmitter and a transponder. It can
transmit to satellites continuously through short bursts of ultra high frequency.
This chip has a charging circuit and battery. The battery is made of lithium. It is
charged for life by the body heat fluctuations. The battery has a thermal recharging
circuit that utilizes fluctuations in your own body's heat. It recharges the lithium
battery and it remains charged for life.
Organizers and planners spent 1.5 million dollars of medical research money, (tax
payers money) to analyze the two best parts of the body in which to implant this thing
in order to take advantage of maximum degrees of temperature variation. After months
of research and 1.5 million dollars, they determined the two best places to
implant it would be first, the right hand, and if you were missing your right hand, your
forehead. It will be injected (like a shot) underneath the skin.
According to Dr. Sanders, this transponder technology will enable the closed
surveillance of every man, woman and child in the world. It puts out a digitly
created signal at specific intervals. This particular interval is a locator signal. It
gives vital information on the individual as well as a locator marker signal.
It has a release pattern, separate receiving antenna, separate broadcasting
antenna. It has a microchip that stores nine items: name and digital picture,
digitized fingerprint data, physical description, your address and previous addresses,
family history, present occupation and income, tax information and any money owed,
your criminal record if any and your new social security number. You new number will
be 18 digits. The first five of you zip code, with the additional four after the hyphen
and your social security number. These 18 digits will be grouped into three sections
Doctor Sanders was talking to a fellow engineer of chip and asked him what would
happen if the chip should mal-function. The engineer responded that it would cause
a grievous sore.
Dr. Sanders stated: "I believe this chip to be the mark of the beast." Now Dr.
Sanders spends his time traveling warning people about this computer chip. His chip.

OPERATION FEDWATCH
Air Force uses Internet for classified documents !
Despite recent policy to the contrary, Kelly AFB has
chosen to 'lock out' certain users on a list, wheras :
Tinker AFB and Hill AFB have complied to ONLY use
the Internet for UNclassified data ...
Air Force Intelligence releases software !
An Air Force employee has released simple
inquiry software to packet 'test' hosts for domain names.
Now it's common freeware ...
D.O.D. uses 'disk wipe' software for security :
Pentagon software using X7 bit overwrite capacity
to completely erase hard drives - now public as 'bcwipe.exe' ...
N.S.A. Employees issued fake D.O.D. identification !
National Security Agency policy is to issue fake I.D.s
to employees for 'costco' card applications ...
NAVY directive specifies how to :
refuse F.O.I.A. requests for tech/scientific data
for all UNclassified info - by policy !
NAVAL OPS document shows denial forms for F.O.I.A. information
requests, and more ...
Are the CIA and NSA still 'hiding' UFO files ? ...
Despite new Fed requirements to have 'electronic reading rooms' on Web servers for
easier F.O.I.A. public access - the CIA has their UFO reports ( unclassified ) listed
as *deleted* - and they are ... the NSA has their UFO documents in .PDF format and
available for download - except 'file errors' render them unusable ! And so it goes ...
CIA / Military Intelligence doing 'paranormal' since 1973
Daily new information becomes available on not only projects like
Project Stargate, but dozens of other S.R.I. programs, and other government
sponsored research programs on the paranormal, reverse speech, and other psi
research projects since 1973 ...
"How to trace ..."
FEDERAL CONSPIRACY REVEALED : CYBERGATE !
Latest news on PCCIP - massive Internet monitoring by the 'Fed' !
CONTACT made ...
NEW letter from S.E.T.I. !
Simply, Operation FedWatch is me - watching the Feds - watching me. Looking back
at over 75,000 reverse-tracings of users of The SPYder Web, patterns did emerge.
We can now answer the government's question of where those 2 hours a day are
being spent by government employees / military personnell ! Perhaps it all relates to
early government research in 1973 in paranormal research at S.R.I. and elsewhere :
on psi, remote viewing, reverse speech, telekinesis, etc. since I have over 275 links
to the 'paranormal Internet'. Furthur, this newsletter has been publishing visitor stats
which in turn has brought on more visitors : KGB, CIA, DOD, Military Intelligence, and
others including INTERPOL. Furthur, you have been sending in wonderful stories, like
the psychic detective agency who did a free 'demo' for the FBI's most wanted - with
fresh new leads - only to be put under monitoring / phone taps by the FBI themselves !
Keep those leads, tips and stories coming - we've only begun to see the true scope of
Operation FedWatch !
My Visit to AREA 51 - 4/20/98
Check out my recent visit - story and photos !

Since my return, there has been a return visit from the C.I.A. on the 14th again, from
relay1.ucia.gov ( 198.81.129.193 ), a visit from the Kennedy Space Center --- known
as kw1868733.ksc.nasa.gov , and HBO & Co. ( 208.138.70.3.hboc.com ) ... AND this :
131.50.138.46 --- spec.dm.af.mil
"Other federal agencies using the base include the Federal Aviation Administration,
the U.S. Customs Service Air Service Branch, the U.S. Corps of Engineers, the Federal
Law Enforcement Training Center, and a detachment of the Naval Air Systems Command."
"Approximately 6,000 military and 1,700 civilian employees work at Davis-Monthan and
nearly 13,000 military retirees reside in the Tucson area ... "
In light of the new "Operation FedWatch" which has been in effect for the last many
months - some 78,000 visitors - new statistics have arrived. There are more than -
3200 visitors / day at The SPYder Web, with half University students/faculty from all
over the world, and the other half Government/Military users ... With all of the kind
offers of submissions to this site - I now need to set some guidelines. In the past, I
have only added newsletter items that were origional, simple, and could be easily
verified / duplicated by anyone else. Discovered ports, web sites, etc. have been
an ongoing process. Of late - there have been many of you sending UFO abduction
stories, etc., which, while interesting and enlightening, really need to be posted on
websites which are predominantly paranormal in content. As of now, there are over 600
search engines and directories linked on this site, as well as some 275 paranormal links
detective links, hot links, etc. - The FORUM and this Newsletter, as well as special
web pages ( Area 51 Visit ) are the areas I've put up for things other than resources ...
With 1,386 links at last count, the SPYder Web still continues in its primary mission as
a resource site. Since my accounts of "Tom Knietel" style information of 'spying', based
solely on the Internet ( Tom did short-wave radio items - see "Uncle Tom Took Money
From the CIA" - later in this newsletter ) , with emphasis on latest Internet news, tech
info on espionage, phone taps, radio, etc. is what YOU, the 'viewer' wants more of, I
need to be absolutely sure of the exact content on this site - Feds ARE watching, you
know - I can have no 'taboo' materials out here ...
"How To Trace ... "
Re : User Logs anonymous ... ( from an e-mail sent )
You're absolutely correct - all you get is I.P. and D.N.S. name of the
server rather than that individual user ... sometimes it's a 'particular'
user "user01term22.xxx.xxx.com" - etc., but mostly you'll need to
frequently check that recent user log list, and either use :
1) whois is at rs.internic.net, nic.ddn.mil, or a new one located at
dynip.com - see 'Fast DNS' new link ...
2) WS_PING is great for the rest - use successive IP numbers, like
dialing 'sequential' phone numbers - note a domain is 224.255.xxx.xxx
with the last two sets being on the same server. The FTP is a couple
over at 224.257.xxx.xxx - so you can save time with xxx.xxx.100.10 or
xxx.xxx.0.0 etc - I know it's *slow*, but any way to finger, ping, etc.
will get you the 'rest' of the ones - Kelly Air Force base has 7 domains, and
two of them are website hosts ... the CIA has relay1.ucia.gov, relay2,
relay4, etc. - the website happens to be at www.foia.ucia.gov !
3) I sometimes use an FTP program with anonymous settings to try to
find DNS info - that can find a hidden domain name, even Telnet works !
Mostly you won't find an individual user, but sometimes it's in the
DNS info itself : mdrass.moc.kw is M. Drass, working in the Ministry of
Communications, in Kuwait ! Check THEIR websites, usually there are
directories, etc - and there are e-mail directories, too ! The military usually
has so MANY sub-domains that they are 'department' named as well ...
4) WS_FINGR is also great for finding people, e-mail addresses, and users
at a domain. It's available here for download, as well as WS_PING ... you can

NOTICE :
So any future submissions of (suspected) copyrighted materials, classified documents,
current hacking information, etc. WILL BE IGNORED ! Many of you are sincerely trying
to find leads for me, and while I DO appreciate it - the future of this website demands
that, as a visible F.O.I.A. source, I cannot participate in any shady activities ! Use of
WS_PING, and other shareware is still legally O.K., as is looking for information - it is
our freedom to do so - but don't be disappointed if you don't hear back from me by
e-mail if I can't legally use what you send me. Additionally, I can not condone any
computer hacking, phone phreaking, or other activities - and not encourage you to
do so either. Operation FedWatch demands that I stay squeeky clean, and it's good
advice for all ... I recomend that if you have downloaded anything in the past that
now is a good time to "clean house". All that really needs to be on a hard drive is
an operating system ( DOS , Windows, etc. ) , a web browser, word processor, etc.
to enable you to be "on-line". Here is a program for you to completely erase data from
your hard drive to D.O.D. standards ( X7 ) with bcwipe.exe -- if you need a Win95
version, it's readily available using any shareware search engine from a variety of FTP
and websites. The above program is for Windows_NT ver 4.0 -- perhaps the best plan
is to avoid downloads altogether. Years of BBSs, and FTP sites produced 100s of MBs
of useless material - and hundreds of discarded diskettes. Clean that hard drive ... and
go and 'sin no more' if you truly wish to be one of my spies out there looking for the
'good stuff'. Anything of real value WILL be put up , or at least linked to !
Remember, this website is "FOR EDUCATIONAL USE ONLY" -- no other uses are
intended nor implied. If you had Military Intellegence, CIA, US Attorney General, and
INTERPOL watching you, what would YOU do ? Exactly ...
The following was a forum post I made in responce to "Jonathan Pollard" :
"... the real question posed is why do so many government agencies have personal
web access - is it job related ? I am referring to special DNS name servers which
may, or may not have a token agency web page in place. The new ( second ) C.I.A.
web server was actively surfing before a homepage ever went up on it. The F.B.I.
maintains a 'secret' telnet side to their webserver, and on it goes ... dozens of agencies,
most Army, AF, or Naval Intelligence, large research labs, etc. surfing for ??? Perhaps
some document sites are a 'threat to national security'. I can show you other sites,
with information, electronics schematics, project plans, etc. , far more 'dangerous'
than any F.O.I.A. sites like mine ... it makes one think that while we laugh at all the
surveillance in the '60s, the current level of tracing / tracking on the Internet has far
more sinister implications now than before. Bits of Project Stargate ( Army Intelligence
remote viewing ), and old N.S.A. documents continue to surprise people today -let
alone details on the H.A.A.R.P. project, and other 'science-fiction' projects actually
being tested today. Occasionally something slips out - the NSA Employee's Manual,
that Pentagon FAX about HAARP, strangeness from BNL at Montauk, admittedly pieces
- but looking at half of the 900 visitors a week I get are Gov't Agencies / Military
Intelligence few have ever heard of before - it makes a sobering addition to tens of
thousands of technical university students worldwide - my supposed audience. Simply,
do the 'feds' have too much free time ? Is it all about their 'image' that their webmasters
need to check on, is it connecting links ? While the world worries about medical data-
bases, insurance companies, and the like - what about uncle ? And what's so darned
interesting ? My vacation photos near AREA 51 ? Perhaps Medlin's cows are classified
- a bioproject ... seriously, I'll continue to entertain the CIA with press reports of their
own blunders if they continue to monitor my web forum - but my hypothesis is that it
may be decades before the 'horrors' of gov't research into the parasciences comes
to light - to be critized by the next generation wondering why we let it happen ... "
... and the subsequent post :
"I ran a trace on Jonathan Pollard @ noaa.gov --- here's what I found. In a very large
database indexing federal employees with @noaa e-mail addresses ( over 385 K ! ) I
did verify that the e-mail address is authentic. I do question why N.O.A.A. has over
4,000 employees, but no matter ...
In Peter Moon's "Montauk" books, he talks about synchronicities ... after an Alta
Vista search - I realise that THE Jonathan Pollard is still being held ( as of last month )
by the US government on NO charges at this time. He supposedly gave Israel some
classified documents, while working for US Naval Intelligence, to 'save' lots of lives
from an attack threat. The US was involved in the Gulf War at the time - and it was
acknowledged that the info. was commonly known, and did not affect the US in any
way ... This thread questioned why so many government employees were 'surfing'
the web, and possibly why. I find the 'Jonathan Pollard' connection a little odd -
perhaps a fake post, yet consider the Naval Intelligence connection - a small, local,
forum rates an answer from a gov't employee - listed, no less ?
Oddity two : Today I had a visitor --- sgb03014.kelly.af.mil --- After thoroughly
checking non-existant D.O.D. records, I traced it back to Air Force Intelligence.
Furthur, my domain ( seasurf ) annd some anonymous web services are BLOCKED
by domain name. I've never been to the Kelly AFB, San Antonio, TX homepage ...
why ? Can YOU access www.kelly.af.mil ? It should be the usual routine stuff --- or
is Air Force Intelligence still upset with my visit to AREA 51 ? ( http://seasurf.com/
~radioman/nellis.html ) When will future blocks come on the following : www.aia.af.mil,
and www.topcover.af.mil/links/index.htm ??? While the J. Pollard info is interesting,
and coincidental; being selectively blocked from a website I've never seen, or heard
of is reactionary ... no more secrets"

That OTHER Jonathan Pollard (by the way, I prefer to think that I am THE

if this happens to you , try
www.aia.af.mil
www.tinker.af.mil
and
www.topcover.af.mil/links/index.htm
Since they were nice enough to lock me out ( domain refused ) of a website I've
never seen - it was time to investigate and see what's so special about Kelly AFB,
San Antonio, TX
here's what I found :
the first tip was from their visit :
Mozilla / 4.0 ( Compatible,
MSIE 4.01 , Windows
95 , Custom IE 4.0 for
Kelly AFB Version
1.0.0.15 )
In addition to their proprietary software, I found at Tinker AFB, in OK the following
directive as to permitted / non-permitted Internet uses ...
Internet Directive : Kirtland AFB ( N.S.A. )
So, it seems the mystery is solved - Kelly AFB writes software ... big whoopie.
UPDATE : A military friend tells me that there are places, like Kelly AFB, who certify
/ re-write software for military use - presumably to catch viruses. "Sometimes the
military versions have MORE bugs in them than their counterparts ... ". There you
have it - Kelly tests software - says so in the above directive specifically. Wonder if
that's all they do ?
UPDATE : Here's a letter I just got - seems someone got 'in' ...
" ... I got into Kelly AFB's home page and looked it over and went to links and clicked
on Air force restricted area's and my computer locked up really good. I re-booted
which shuts off the modem until I bring it up ... tonight they brought it up before I could
... I will play with it for a while .... "-- Anonymous
( There are no 'restricted' areas on their website ... )
NOTE : The above directive came from Kirtland AFB, which according to a source,
"Kirtland Air Force Base : Office of Special Investigations. Sandia Labs are here. Also
part of NSA Intercept Equipment Division."

You are in violation of the Air Force's own guidelines on these matters,

Yet another tip yielded the idea that they use it for uploads/downloads , not a homepage.
FTP access reveals :

"save to disk" and 'unzip' with pkunzip , etc. -- for 16 bit users ... *NEW*. It makes
a good addition to any collection of Winsock programs ( web browsers, e-mail, IRC, FTP,
Telnet, ws_finger, a news reader, and others ... ) since many TCP/IP functions are 'lost'
to those limited to browsers only ! Download the 'finger' as well : WS_FINGR !
For instance, the C.I.A.s new F.O.I.A. server at relay1.ucia.gov is also a telnet server
as are relay2.ucia.gov, and relay4.ucia.gov ... be informed !
A final thought on all the 'Kelly AFB' controversy - it seems all materials are O.K. to
distribute on their website ( graphic elements, software updates, and the like ...
Perhaps, again, had there never been that sillyness on the main webpage, no one
would have noticed any more. Just another homepage with a base photo, some names,
contacts, and links ... what the military needs is a decent search engine -- I can only
list so few websites that someone runs across ... more food for thought !

Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the law.
Hey, I was wondering if you could point me in the right direction... my
phone lines are tapped. The Feds know I know. So it's ok that we are
discussing it. It's just annoying. What can I do?
Story behind it is... I own a paranormal investigation company. One of many
things that we do is give people information on how to find others. Like
missing children, perpetrators. I thought it would be nice to extend our
services to the FBI, so I sent them leads on their most wanted criminals as
a sample of what we can do. Well, I guess they did not like the idea that we
are so damn good and now my phone lines are tapped, mail is constantly
messed with and you know... it's annoying the hell out of me.
My partner, Caleb Storms, has been under watch on and off for years. In
fact, he had a very sloppy NSA agent living in the apartment underneath him
for a few months after Caleb gave someone the exact street address where
someone was in the witness protection program. Oops! (It was an honest
mistake. There was a child involved.)
Is there anything we can do? Generally, we just make fun of them by saying
"look you stupid fucknuts, we know you are watching & listening." The part
that really ticks me off is that we regularly offer our services to them.
And honestly, we would help them a lot. But the cocky bastards would rather
not have superior information, and would rather be paranoid about us.
Any ideas?

other sources to view the file : 5510_161.pdf. A long download, about 1892957 bytes
in length, but an important piece of history, of interest to anyone interested in the

in mind it's always a 'security' issue why otherwise normal technical / scientific data

The next evolution in automotive security systems will be PATS -- a technological 'key'

capacity of over one million bits of information ! This reprogrammable information can
and will be used for everything from individual biometrics - seat position, radio station
preferences, etc. to driving habits of those using the car ... all this can be then used
via a download to a compatible computer system, and used as an audit trail for
such items as mileage verification ... and all in the same basic sized key ! God

Subject: Proposals made at the first People's Rally at AREA 51
Date sent: Fri, 12 Jun 1998 11:54:54 EDT
Although the first People's Rally at AREA 51 drew only about 150 citizens, the
Rally was a success. Some drove all the way from New York, Indiana, Kansas
and Oregon. A few even flew in from Canada.
As was promised, the Rally was a peaceful gathering of concerned citizens and
the message was sent out loud and clear.
We were extremely pleased that the Federal (BLM) security-rangers were
courteous and helpful to us. They even helped us in parking all the vehicles
including trucks, one semi-rig and a large bus. For the first time in
history, they allowed all the vehicles to be parked on Groom Lake Road.
At the People's Rally, the following proposals were made:
1) that the government, through its most appropriate agency or channel
(whichever one they may deem appropriate) and through a publicly recognized
media, give a brief statement, once and for all, of assurance that the
former workers were or are being medically treated for their illness
2) that the government construct a clearly marked new fence at least
several miles along the restricted boundary on both sides of Groom Lake road,
instead of vague thin orange posts posted wide apart.
3) that the government construct a new Guard Shack right at the restricted
boundary line (where it should be, to begin with) by Groom Lake road, instead
of the present Guard Shack which is hidden more than a third of a mile inside
the restricted area.
4) that there be a Public Affairs Office built specifically regarding
this base, separate from the PA office at Nellis AFB, which at present is
incompetent to give proper answers regarding the base since it is not a Nellis asset.
5) that the government designate this multi-faceted base in more
concrete terms and not just a vague designation like "an operating base by Groom Lake",
which is still being used. The lack of an official name of the base could
bring about more problems in the future when dealing with any rightful
lawsuits that may arise from any future accidents at the base.
These are some of the proposals that were made at the Rally.
The Rally was covered by LAS VEGAS REVIEW JOURNAL as the top story of Nevada,
in its Sunday newspaper of June 7:
Las Vegas

We definitely hope that you will participate in the event.

UNCLASSIFIED CIA ?
In additional to those wonderful new search engines at Tinker AFB, the C.I.A. has
added new material to it's F.O.I.A. website at :
http://www.foia.ucia.gov
Among the 'new' materials from 1991, there is a report on the U.S.S.R.'s collection
of UFO reports ... as seen above in the signature section of this unclassified document
exactly WHO the recepients were ... in addition to the Voice of America shortwave
station in Germany, were several others with only TWO military receipients :
Wright-Patterson AFB - where the 'Roswell debis' reportedly went, and ...
Ft. Meade - home of Army Intelligence's Project Stargate ( remote viewing ),
some CIA projects, and ???
Keep an eye on Ft. Meade - the (research) buck stops here ! Makes me wonder - if
it was part of an anti-Soviet publicity scam - "look at these silly UFO reports" - then
why were two places, supposedly involved with UFO evidence gathering ( Ft. Meade,
and Wright-Patterson AFB) receiving this info ? Well from what we know, the CIA has
no UFO evidence ( see report from 1947 - current ), and Wright-Patterson AFB has
only 'weather balloons' in storage ! ;)
UPDATE :On Ft. Meade, Maryland ...

made chips and printed circuit boards for its own computers; it even maintains its own
semiconductor manufacturing plant at its Fort Meade, Maryland headquarters; is
pulling out all the stops to promote a computer se ... " (Total = 2359 characters)

Fort Meade IS interesting - this article from France confirms the location of the N.S.A.
as does *this* press release from 1995 :
"Most NSA/CSS employees, both civilian and military, are headquartered
at Fort George G. Meade, Maryland, centrally located between Baltimore
and Washington, DC. Its workforce represents an unusual combination of
specialties to include: analysts, engineers, physicists, mathematicians,
linguists, computer scientists, researchers, customer relations specialists,
security officers, data flow experts, managers, administrative and clerical
assistants, to name a few."
NSA Public Affairs Office - press release 12/95
So now we know where the "National Computer Security Center" visitor was really
from ... again, there are a few 'beans' on the 'Net, AND if you collect enough of them,
they begin to make sense. Nothing very earth shattering - but remember that 'Uncle'
is watching, and so is Jeff Rense ( Sightings ) !
Conclusions - is it still coincidence that SO many federal agencies / military agencies
are visiting The SPYder Web ? Not 'wanting to believe' in conspiracy theories, I might
conclude that its just a sampling of webmasters doing searches on 'their' respective
areas, and finding my site through search engines ... or perhaps the military, as seen
with Tinker AFB is just now beginning to set up THEIR own military search engines ...
still, the sequence of visitors remains - KGB then CIA; my webpages on Area 51 followed
by Air Force Intelligence; Jeff Rense ( SIGHTINGS ), followed by the Associated Press ...
If you objectively look at the above list of users ( admittedly only the govt/military ones
with some interesting internet 'security' users, INTERNIC, press, etc. ) you tell me if
there is any connection - not to mention all the aerospace companies ( boeing, etc. ),
and I still have to wonder - is the 600+ search engines list the reason, or the all of the
paranormal links, the UFO topics, or my mere mention of my 'anonymous' traced visitors
who want to know whether or not they 'are being watched' too ? I would only expect
visits from Universities around the world - every european university, every technical
and trade college from each continent, every medical/law school, students and some
faculty from everywhere there is a large population and internet server, and perhaps
some fans of the paranormal, 'X-Files', etc. - and I would be correct for only HALF of
the current users ... stay tuned, more to come !
"President Clinton warned during commencement ceremonies last month at the
U.S. Naval Academy that the United States is increasingly vulnerable to cyber-
attack. He called for strengthening the nation's computer defenses and ordered
an assessment to plan against such attacks."

UPDATE : July 1998

Is this 'suspect' holding a 'terrorist' device ?
"Air Force Lt. Gen. Kenneth Minihan, head of the ultrasecretive National Security
Agency, testified to the same panel that attacks against U.S. networks were occur-
ring "every day." "We are only seeing the tip of the iceberg," he said. "Even when
attacks are detected and reported, we rarely know who the attacker was."
Tenet identified potential cyberattackers as comprising everyone from foreign nations'
intelligence and militaries to guerrilla forces, criminals, industrial competitors, hackers,
and disgruntled people."
An update - while Clinton's away ... the mice are playing. Today both CIA director
George Tenet and Lt. Gen Kenneth Minihan, head of the NSA continued to 'prop-
agandize' for the 'great hacker peril' in front of a Senate committee hearing. Today's
comedy involves China supposedly wanting to 'hack' into US computers via the
Internet - a 'black eye' on the President's trip according to Reuters News Service.
"WASHINGTON--China and other countries have begun to focus on U.S. computer
networks as a target for possible high-tech attacks that could cripple anything from
telephones to electricity, CIA Director George Tenet said yesterday."
"Tenet said the "battle space" of the information age would "surely" extend to U.S.
domestic infrastructure. "Our electric power grids and our telecommunications net-
works will be targets of the first order," he said. "
Yesterday, the AP reported that the Pentagon admitted ( indirectly ) that the hacking
into India's sensitive documents went by way of Army computers -- when asked, the
Pentagon had no responce whether someone could access the data in India from the
Army's Internet ...
Since I broke CyberGate on the 19th, government agencies have been scrambling to
provide press releases about the sensitive communications vulnerabilities, etc. when
the REAL issue was that the PCCIP in 1996 created a large federal inter-agency
commission on infrastructure security with FEMA, CIA, DOD, FBI, NSA and others
participating to spy on any Americans with 'a PC and a modem' ...
Remember, that 'cold war' scare tactics have done great injustices in the past, and
with evidence of federally sanctioned hacking having taken place in the past ; the
PCCIP's work ( at The SPYder web - all executive orders, mission statement, summary
report, etc. ) is now classified 'TOP SECRET' by Clinton, but repercussions of this
'cybergate' are beginning to be felt, and seen in the media . Don't be misled - My user
tracking of over 7,000 users of my website over the last few weeks provided that list
of dozens of federal agencies / military departments who are systematically searching
the entire Internet looking for 'terrorists', red peril, or now - the Chinese ! Federal mon-
itoring of personal internet use dwarfs any sanctioned FBI monitoring of individuals in
the '60s, and their only failure in the latest public propaganda campaign, is that they
were caught !
CYBERGATE SUMMARY :
From: radioman@seasurf.com

Subject: *TOP SECRET* Multi-Agency Federal Conspiracy !

PCCIP : *TOP SECRET* Multi-Agency Federal Conspiracy !
"CyberGate" 6/19/98
Here is the answer to WHY so many federal agencies / military departments
have been visiting The SPYder Web lately - after nearly 7,000 visitor log entries
analysis - we found 'cybergate' - a Presidential commission which included many
Federal Agencies / Military and N.S.A. whose purpose is to investigate potential
security breaches on nonclassified computer systems from 'terrorists' and those
'recreational hackers', and anyone 'with a PC and modem ...' Here are some of
the items from 1996 :
"(b) Members. The head of each of the following executive branch departments
and agencies shall nominate not more than two full-time members of the
Commission:"
"(i) Department of the Treasury;
(ii) Department of Justice;
(iii) Department of Defense;
(iv) Department of Commerce;
(v) Department of Transportation;
(vi) Department of Energy;
(vii) Central Intelligence Agency;
(viii) Federal Emergency Management Agency;
(ix) Federal Bureau of Investigation;
(x) National Security Agency."
The current work of this *top secret* classified group, if any, is unknown; but
their initial press release, the origional executive order, three subsequent amend-
ments, and their first report with conclusions ( their mission statement ) has
been found !!! ( see full text : *PCCIP* at http://seasurf.com/~radioman/nsc.html ,
and full text of what preceded this at : http://seasurf.com/~radioman/album.html )
This committee exists to investigate security, computer security, breach of non-
classified computer systems, etc. under the 'hat' of National Security interests.
In a responce to increasing terrorism, and the Oklahoma City Bombing, this group
has compared findings within each participating agency regarding 'recreational
hacking' ...
The targets are every american citizen 'with a PC and a modem ...' In addition to
investigating the rise of 'recreational hacking', of particular note was the justi-
fication of all this based on 'freely available software on the Internet'.
In a nutshell, YOU are being watched, by agencies who's charters prohibit
domestic monitoring ( CIA ). While the conclusions summary goes on to make
a case for National Security, the reality is that an inter-agency group was set
into motion in 1996 to specifically 'monitor' internet users in addition to
already-in-place methods by the NSA.
"This was an unusually large commission with broad representation from federal
departments and agencies and from the private sector. An Advisory Committee
of industry leaders appointed by the President provided the perspective of the
infrastructure owners and operators. A Steering Committee, composed of the
Commission's Chairman and four top government officials, oversaw the Commiss-
ion's work on behalf of the Principals Committee, which included Cabinet Officers,
heads of agencies, and senior White House staff members."
"The Commission generally operated by consensus. Every recommendation was
discussed at length with the full Commission and most were revised several times
before final approval. No Commissioner agreed completely with all of the recom-
mendations. Nevertheless, each accepted the final report as a reasonable and
balanced recommendation to the President."
"New, cyber threats.Today, the right command sent over a network to a power
generating station's control computer could be just as effective as a backpack
full of explosives, and the perpetrator would be harder to identify and apprehend."
"The rapid growth of a computer-literate population ensures that increasing millions
of people possess the skills necessary to consider such an attack. The wide
adoption of public protocols for system interconnection and the availability of
"hacker tool" libraries make their task easier."
"While the resources needed to conduct a physical attack have not changed much
recently, the resources necessary to conduct a cyber attack are now common-
place. A personal computer and a simple telephone connection to an Internet
Service Provider anywhere in the world are enough to cause a great deal of harm."
"Insiders. Normal operation demands that a large number of people have authorized
access to the facilities or to the associated information and communications
systems. If motivated by a perception of unfair treatment by management, or if
suborned by an outsider, an "insider" could use authorized access for unauthorized
disruptive purposes."
"Recreational hackers. For an unknown number of people, gaining unauthorized
electronic access to information and communication systems is a most fascinating
and challenging game. Often they deliberately arrange for their activities to be
noticed even while hiding their specific identities. While their motivations do not
include actual disruption of service, the tools and techniques they perfect among
their community are available to those with hostile intent."
"Industrial espionage. Some firms can find reasons to discover the proprietary
activities of their competitors, by open means if possible or by criminal means if
necessary. Often these are international activities conducted on a global scale."
"Terrorism. A variety of groups around the world would like to influence US
policy and are willing to use disruptive tactics if they think that will help."
"National intelligence. Most, if not all, nations have at least some interest in
discovering what would otherwise be secrets of other nations for a variety of
economic, political, or military purposes."
"Information warfare. Both physical and cyber attacks on our infrastructures
could be part of a broad, orchestrated attempt to disrupt a major US military
operation or a significant economic activity."
"Potentially serious cyber attacks can be conceived and planned without detectable
logistic preparation. They can be invisibly reconnoitered, clandestinely rehearsed,
and then mounted in a matter of minutes or even seconds without revealing the
identity and location of the attacker."
"A National Organization Structure"
"In order to be effective, recommendations must discuss not only what is to be
done, but how it will get done and who will do it. We have recommended the
following partnering organizations be established to be responsible for specific
parts of our vision:"
"Sector Coordinators to provide the focus for industry cooperation and infor-
mation sharing, and to represent the sector in matters of national cooperation
and policy;"
"Lead Agencies, designated within the federal government, to serve as a
conduit from the government into each sector and to facilitate the creation of
sector coordinators, if needed;"
"National Infrastructure Assurance Council of industry CEOs, Cabinet
Secretaries, and representatives of state and local government to provide
policy advice and implementation commitment;"
"Information Sharing and Analysis Center to begin the step-by-step process
of establishing a realistic understanding of what is going on in our infrastructures
-- of distinguishing actual attack from coincidental events;"
"Infrastructure Assurance Support Office to house the bulk of the national
staff which is responsible for continuous management and follow-through of our
recommendations; and"
"Office of National Infrastructure Assurance as the top-level policy making
office connected closely to the National Security Council and the National
Economic Council."
( see : President's Commission on Critical Infrastructure Protection
Executive Order 13010 )
Air Force Lt. Gen. Kenneth Minihan, head of the ultrasecretive National Security
Agency, testified to the same panel that attacks against U.S. networks were oc-
curring "every day." "We are only seeing the tip of the iceberg," he said. "Even
when attacks are detected and reported, we rarely know who the attacker was."
Tenet identified potential cyberattackers as comprising everyone from foreign
nations' intelligence and militaries to guerrilla forces, criminals, industrial com-
petitors, hackers, and disgruntled people. -- Reuters News Service
Commentary : While it was difficult to find and verify the existance of this group,
it appears that this was the beginning of the largest organized federal monitoring
effort of cybercitizens ever assembled - exceeding the FBI's efforts in the '60s ...
and a direct parallel to the White House 'plumber's group' which was composed
of the President, Vice President, Henry Kissenger, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs
of Staff, heads of various federal agencies, top White House aids, etc. - which
existed secretly as a 'networking group' meeting weekly in the White House base-
ment some years before the famous 'Watergate' breakin took place ( and known
by Greg Davis and others beforehand ... )
Since this press release to hundreds of cybercitizens on the 19th, daily news
events have shown the 'infrastructure problem' being promoted to the Senate,
and the media ... 'we are in danger' - CIA and NSA says ... propaganda ???

Just to prove the web is truly interconnected, one of my colleagues at the
SETI Institute was just reading your web pages. I remember you well. In
case it is really true that you wrote me and I neglected to write back,
don't feel lonely. After the flood of Contact mail came the video, European
distribution, etc. Give it another try, and we can have a real QSO.

Many more 'news' items are added to The SPYder Web Forum, before they are added
to the newsletter here, in summary form ... check out the FORUM link below for the
very latest news on the paranormal, weird science, and conspiracies ...
Growing Pains ...
This website has been up and running for nearly two years now, and there have been
many growing pains - but many rewards as well. I recently told an attorney there
were several law libraries, legal searches, Library of Congress, U.S. Codes, and online
Patent, trademark and copyright searches now possible on the Internet. I also met a
detective, who was surprised to learn about Internet on-line databases, reverse phone
directories, etc. in fact a lot of services that weren't out there even a few months back.
In addition to a new guestbook that you can 'sign-in' there is even a full web-based
full discussion forum ! Just click on the link on The SPYder Web main index page, and
you're there ! Lots of paranormal projects, conspiracy news and more ... enjoy !
AREA 51

Features ...
There are now many ( hundreds of ?) new features at this website, graphics, new links,
with more links to the strange and paranormal ... the Internet is THE place to publish
information, photos, theories and stories and know that many multitudes of people WILL
see them quickly. Among the new links include photos of Montauk AFB, photos of some
of the Roswell UFO Crash Debris, homepages of psychic sensitives who make various
earthquake predictions, etc. and other "good" stuff for all of us to be exposed to ...
Also I have been uploading stories, of a more person nature, of my experiences of the
psychic area, and telekinesis, to the Reverse Speech Forum, my forum, as well as
some newsgroups ...The CIA is now hiring : see http://www.parascope.com/gallery/
galleryitems/ciahiring.htm . All I get is a blank web page ... hmmm ...
Directory Service ...
Perhaps the Directories section needs to be split into a database area, a directory area,
and a "CD-ROM" area for phone books, etc. - but as yet I am still wanting the aspects of
this website ( http://seasurf.com/~radioman/ ) to be simple "listings" that don't have a lot
of editorial comments, classifications, etc. to retain the origional "resource list"
idea with perhaps more content than the Berkeley Library simple "bookmark" listings ...
Fan mail ...
There have been more than 24,400 visitors to The SPYder Web in the last two years,
and growing fast ! A user wrote this to us : " ... I used to work in radio work for USAF
many many years ago, over-seas, intercept work, ( NSA stuff ), and have always found
it fascinating ... " So do we ... we now have a full featured web-based discussion
forum, an IRC chat room ( on the DALnet server at - spider.DAL.net ), and a link to
missing children ... now what else would you like to see at The SPYder Web ? And
what else do you need access to ? The internet newsbeat goes on ...
Internet Statistics ...
Today; in addition to users from xs4all in the Netherlands, Paneris Co. in England, &
MGN, an I.S.P. in France; we were visited on the main website by : Naval
Ocean Systems Center, in San Diego, CA. Their records show over 300 e-mail users
on-site, but we wish to include a thank you to visitor : shq-ot-027.nosc.mil (see below),
( 198.253.4.57 ) for taking the time to visit The SPYder Web ! Since then, we've had
visitors from Argentina, U.K., Germany, Netherlands, Australia, New Zealand, Sweden,
Norway, Denmark, Finland, Belgium, Faroe Islands, Indonesia, Japan, 196-31-20-14
( iafrica.com ), Romania, Portugal, Israel, Greece, Italy, Estonia, Russia, Singapore,
Austria, Mexico, Lithuania, Switzerland, Costa Rica, Malaysia, and South Africa,
India, Croatia, & the U.S. too ! Didn't know that there's such an international appeal !
Good search tools and resources aren't all that easy to find ;-)
Statistics show anywhere from 90 to 120 users a day ( 151 on 1/1/98 ) at the main
site, and an average of 60 visitors a day on the FORUM, though sometimes as high as
90 (different) people a day when interesting new posts are submitted ...
We just had a log-on from the U.S. Dept. of Energy at the main website this afternoon
It was from user #56 on PC Terminal #8 at the Yucca Mountain Project Office, of the
Department of Energy, in Las Vegas, NV. Lately there have been many users from all
over, including the Netherlands, but what made this one stand out was the return
domain name. After some checking, we determined that this particular office is respon-
cible for the project, going on for more than 15 years now, to find a suitable location for
the national nuclear waste disposal site. The link below accesses several hundred doc-
uments from the project currently ... Still curious why an employee was using The SPYder
Web ... perhaps to find some search tools, or even check out the latest on nearby Area
51. Wondering if Yucca Mountain is the 'same' general jurisdictional area as Area 51 ?
The D.O.E. has many projects scattered throughout the area, as a result of origional
atomic test sites ... If so, they are welcome to post any updates on new projects there
at Area 51 ;) In any event, our thanks to user : tc8pc056.ymp.gov ( 204.140.58.56 )
for logging on today and making us aware of the ongoing project at Yucca Mountain !
Our 'DX' award goes to today's new user, M. Drass, at the Ministry of Communications
for the State of Kuwait ! We welcome M. Drass to the main SPYder Web site, located
at : http://seasurf.com/~radioman - and hope you find what you're looking for ! New
items include some newly declassified CIA documents, links, and the Gulf War Search
Engine ... their main website is at : http://www.moc.kw
After a few weeks, the typical user profile is emerging : about half the weekly users
are here in the U.S. - from college students, and professors, to corporate employees,
journalists, government employees, and military personel. The users of The SPYder Web
outside of the U.S. are from nearly every European country, Central America, Canada,
some Pacific Islands, and Kuwait. They are Technical University students and faculty
as well, some corporate, and Government officials also ... future additional links will
try to reflect the current user base ... welcome ! Hello to : gate.census.gov
Sandia National Laboratories cloaked ?
Here's a mystery from Sandia National Lab in Albuquerque, N.M. from two users there
one on a PC at sahp947.sandia.gov, and the other on a Mac at sahp949.sandia.gov ...
I sent an e-mail hoping to be on the 'invited' list for the Eight Annual Arms Control
Conference - attended by some 180 people from 40 countries ... well I didn't get an
invite, but they did become nervous (?) that I was tracking their use of the Internet.
Recently they spend a lot more time at my site ( http://seasurf.com/~radioman ) just
looking around ... despite their new 'untraceable' internet domain name - the telltale
gateway is still intact ! ( ooops ... ) If you ever see this gateway, you'll know it's the
government employees at Sandia :
... via proxy gateway
CERN - HTTPD / 3.0
libwww/2.17
Do they have reasons to not want their Internet use known ? Perhaps too many of
those Internet 'coffee breaks' ... donuts are harder to trace ;-)
( Sandia Labs houses the Office of Special Investigations at Kirtland AFB - part of the
NSA Intercept Equipment Division ... )
UPDATE : Perhaps there's a new newsletter going around .. today we had many
visits from 'other' labs around the country, including tmh.lanl.gov - 34 hits, and from
pel.lanl.gov - 9 hits, both 'nodes' from Los Alamos National Laboratory ... telnet rumors
are that user '100125' and '100160' are still active there ...
New 'Secret' Air Force Base ?
Yet another military user mystery here at The SPYder Web ... After checking with
the Military Network Information Center ( nic.ddn.mil ) there are currently 40 KNOWN
sub-domains for "af.mil" and 25 known nodes for Wright Patterson Air Force Base.
Yet we know that there are more, since we had a log-on for user ws126100 at :
"rheinmain.af.mil" - a 'new' domain ? We know that the Nellis AFB isn't really a 'real'
air force base, since it's Nellis 'Test Range' - part of D.O.E. lands ... then again so
is AREA 51, and we've been told that that doesn't exist either ! With all the German
interest (?) in the website here lately, my best guess is that it's the large USAF base
in Germany - although that would 'violate' the spirit of how InterNIC domains are all
classified geographically ... secret base ? You tell me ... UPDATE : I was correct,
as it turns out, ws126100.rheinmain.af.mil is alternately RMCOMM, and traced back
to NS.RAMSTEIN.af.mil - where the domain is registered at : Fairford AFB, in Missouri
- particularly Bldg. 500 where Sean Crocker works ... the base itself, after a search of
the site at www.af.mil, is : Rhein-Main Air Base, Germany, USAFE facility DSN 330-
1110. A photo is at : http://www.af.mil:80/photos/Jan1996/rhein03.html ... and they
have been back at The SPYder Web since. Another user was from Fort Huachuca, AZ
( army ) at Bldg. 61801 USA CECOM as user : huachuca-www10.army.mil -- what they
were looking for is anyone's guess ... hello to : dla.mil ( Defense Logistics Agency ).
A Visit from the C.I.A.
Today ( 4/14/98 ) there have been three visits from the C.I.A. ... One to
the SPYder forum, the other two to this main SPYder Web site . Reverse
tracking isolated it to :

Interesting to note that InterNIC records this as :

UPDATE : Currently serving as new website server for F.O.I.A. :
http://www.foia.ucia.gov
"The U.S. Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) dismisses as baseless an
uncorroborated suggestion that it might have plotted to kill Britain's
Princess Diana, following the arrest in Austria of a man allegedly seeking
to squeeze $15 million from the father of Diana's friend Dodi Fayed.
The suspect, a 67-year old man whose name is withheld, had demanded the
money for "secret documents" which purported to be evidence of a supposed
murder plot, by implication involving British and U.S. Intelligence.
This followed a two-week inquiry by the Harrods department store's
security chief for documentary evidence of a plot to kill Diana and her
companion. Harrods is owned by Dodi Fayed's father, Mohamed Al Fayed.
Diana and Dodi were killed in a car crash in Paris on August 31; French
officials probing the case have blamed high speed and alcohol consumption
by the car's driver." (Fox News)
from : +PROPHECY WATCH+ by Sylvia Browne: "Princess Di crash found, by investigators,
to be caused by a remote-controlled device in the car's engine."
Secret Air Force Research
In a recent post I wrote the following :
"Thanks for the enlightenment - will await his ( Alex MacRae's ) website tests. I'll make
a not-so-wild guess as to the classified Wright Patterson AFB project he worked on ...
not aliens ! I'll bet it was a helmet version of this ( EM Induced 'hearing' through nerves
directly - brain interface ), for pilots to hear their radios 'in their head' - no speakers !
I may have met his S.R.I. counterpart designing the visual display half of the helmet ...
interesting. It was an expensive attempt to integrate visual/audio and targeting capa-
bilities totally hands-free into a pilot's helmet to allow (?) better hands-on flying skills
presumably ... don't know if it ever panned out. Since I heard only about the visual end
it probably ended up weighing too much ... all this while the Russians were developing
earth / cosmonaut psychic communications capabilities ( non-tech ) This is why we were
nearly 20 years behind in paranormal research ... hi tech toys took all the budget ..."
'Hacking' into the FBI's computer ?

The above screen is what you're likely to see at :
telnet://kirtland-gw.af.mil
( Office of Special Investigations at Kirtland AFB - part of the NSA Intercept
Equipment Division ... )
Yes, it's probably true ... and YOU may have already done it unknowingly ! First, a
little 'primer' about web browsers, including Netscape. If you ever enter a directory
without specifing a particular web page, the default 'selection' is index.html or index.htm
if the system is a non-Unix one. There are websites with mega-security, with anticipated
openings stopped with blank, or error message webpages. These sites ARE secure, and
designed against people looking for files ... usually, under 18 years of age ! Security
on government computers ? A lot like the concept of military intelligence ! Those bureau-
crats who commission web artists to design web pages, can't figure out the simplest
beginner' rules - here's a case in point. Go to the FBI web server at http://www.fbi.gov
and you'll find a subdirectory named 'foipa'. This is the 'electronic reading room' for the
Freedom of Information Act files that have been scanned and put up on the web server ...
everything from John Wayne's threats ( to him ), Marilyn Monroe's files, Majestic-12, and
lots of other public files most 'requested' under the Freedom of Information Act. Unfortun-
ately, the 'artists' couldn't agree on a main index page, so there are three ( thanks to a
user in Amsterdam for the tip ! ) First, the 'main' page is document.htm, with a similar
ndex page of foipa.htm, and a longer index page, alphabetical file listings, at alpha.htm ...
no where in all this is an index.htm, so the directory of http://www.fbi.gov/foipa/ returns
NO index page, but a default FTP index of everything in that folder : including, graphics,
the three web pages mentioned, the file subdirectories, etc. Is this a common occurance,
especially among government computers ( at least their web servers ) ? You bet - all be-
cause of no specific index.htm or .html page !
I became somewhat interested in seeing if an FTP server existed for the FBI as well. No
server at ftp.fbi.gov, but there IS an FTP server associated with the website located at
www.fbi.gov. This goes a way in explaining the 'hole' in the indexing. The server, when
accessed by an FTP program other than a web browser, is at : thickjaw.va.pubnix.com,
or 199.170.0.150 which is where www.fbi.gov resides currently. Interesting to note, they
might have planned access via FTP from the start, which may be why no index page
exists. In logging on, it acknowledges that "guest log-on O.K., ... some restrictions apply".
Unfortunately, even though it asks for your email address as guest password, it fails to
accept the anonymous FTP log-ons - at the very end, it 'kicks out', ( "can't set guest
privileges" ) which implies that it may have been set up to provide files, such as foipa,
via FTP, but was changed at some point ! It DOES accept name/password log-ons from
current employee/users though - perhaps another 'bad' idea, since the anonymous FTP
set up obviously fails, but 'tips' us to the fact that FTP is possible. We need never know
of any possible employee access other than secure Telnet, etc. All going to show that
'creative' index pages leave gaps for normal web users to stumble upon ...
Also, webmasters, check your anonymous FTP side of the web from time to time. Frequen-
tly, kids will upload to /pub/ directories in the 'upload' directory ( .../pub/incoming/ ) and
leave files for their friends, even create 'Filez' directories to upload latest video-game soft-
ware hints/copies to ... all because lazy webmasters don't routinely check /incoming/
material, which sits on someone's server, allowing anyone to leave, and retrive files
anonymously - the equivalent of the roadside mailbox. Webmasters, wake up ! Govern
-ment web designers, well ... how about 'back to basics'. Too much time spent on 'window
displays' and no time spent checking to see if the 'door is locked' on the way out ...
WASHINGTON (AP) -- Hackers entered U.S. Army computers last week
and altered a command's Web site, an Army spokesman said Saturday.
Days earlier, computer rebels claimed to have entered India's
national security computer network and stolen sensitive nuclear
weapons secrets. They said in an interview with the online magazine
Wired News that they also altered a World Wide Web site there.
Asked about a possible connection between the two incidents,
Army spokesman Gerry Gilmore told The Associated Press, "If you're
hacking, you can go through different routes. Evidently they went
through some Army organization's computers."
Later, however, Gilmore refused further comment about whether
the hackers used the Army access to enter the Indian government
computers. He referred further questions to the Defense Department.
Pentagon spokesman Jim Turner said only that "the appropriate
authorities are looking into it."

Here are factual excerpts from today's e-mail from prophets@maui.net. This e-mail was
sent to 8,000 recepients. Title : "Whales and Dolphins dead and dying from LFAS"
" ... a baby whale lies abandoned and dying undoubtedly as a result of LFAS testing ...
This is the second such death in two weeks in the same Hawai'i waters where the US
Navy is testing the Low Frequency Active Sonar."
"Hopefully this week's goal
of 500,000 email protests will have them sit up and take action."
"As reported in the Guardian newspaper March 3rd out of England and also in the
Sydney daily newspaper, 13 Cuvier's beaked whales were found stranded off Greece
the next day after LFAS broadcast by the US Navy. And in the last few weeks ... 200
dolphins have been found blown up in the Mediterranean sea."
"For more information ... http://www.dreamweaving.com/lfas308.htm"
"Last week I tracked down Sir Peter Guy Manners' assistant Dr. Dudley Finch, they
were both in Florida treating patients and presenting their work to the medical establish-
ment. Through their expertise they can predict precisely the type of damage that is done
with LFAS sound. They are the only experts in the world ... who have many decades of
medical experience of the use of sound in altering the physiology of living tissue."
"Sir Peter wrote : ' ... the likely effects ( of LFAS ) on marine animals in our opinion could
be disastrous, causing cell and tissue damage as well as effecting the brain and nervous
system.' "
" ( http://www.dreamweaving.com/lfas2.htm ) "
" ... the sound does not necessarily effect the living tissue in ways that can be conven-
tionally measured or observed and will not always show up in autopsies. It effects the
energy and the structure of the cells. Hence the whales are beaching sometimes, as in
the Greece incident, alive probably from the lower intensities exposures and at other
times blown apart from higher intensities as in the recent case of the dolphins."
"One would normally assume that the louder the sound the worse the damage. However,
that is not always the case. It is the combination of the frequencies that do the damage,
or if used appropriately good. Sir Peter can break up tumors non surgically with sound ... "
"I believe the Navy has this data and is classified, not only could they use the sound to
knock out say the electrical system of a submarine, but by switching frequencies and
depending on the distance to the sub they could kill everyone on board, or maim or stun.
Just like a dolphin or some whales stun their prey with their sonar. Except the US Navy
can broadcast at 230 dB, 10,000 times louder than a 747 taking off."
"Last Saturday March 7th we heard the LFAS sound broadcast at hourly intervals for
several seconds. We heard three brodcasts. That day, we were about 10 miles ... from
the sending vessel so the levels were below the local background levels of the whales
singing and grunting around our boat. We did get a recording, and I will post it as soon
as I get a copy. They were using frequencies around middle "C" and stepping up the
frequencies. There appeared to be some change in the whale's sounds, if anything their
song activity appeared to increase after the 8 (?) second brodcast."
"The earliest report of the Navy using the LFAS dates back to the early 1980's ... "
"It occurs to us that the testing here ( Hawaii ) is to determin the thresholds they can
brodcast to stun an enemy sub or UFO or whatever the situation may be. They are
using the birthing waters here to test those thresholds and show to the conservationists,
environmentalists, and research folks that LFAS is safe, but the dying baby whale tells
us it's a lie"
While this mass e-mailing, some seven pages in length, was a political call-to-action,
complete with a list of e-mail addresses, including nosc.mil ( above ), I have isolated
just the 'facts' here for those wanting to know about LFAS, and it's apparent effects.
NOTE : as a potential 'weapon' it could be rendered ineffective by another submarine
using similar technology to first digitally sample the tone frequency, then re-gurgitate it
out of a microcontroller chip to a sound system, out of phase, aimed back at it's source,
like a mirror, out of phase to effectively cross-cancell the frequency's impact, then to
occasionally sample and repeat the loop, thereby reducing exposure to short bursts
of 1/10 seconds, or so, for each new tone frequency, in this real-time echoing feedback
device. I'm sure better methods could be designed, perhaps even dolphin packs ! And
so goes your tax dollar on "sonar research" they say ... Just to let you know that it's
possible to be 'fish friendly' - a multi-agency group from the U.S. and Canada did a
seismic survey of waters around Puget Sound, near Seattle - using bursts of compressed
air underwater every 40 seconds ... and so far they claim that no fish have been killed
accidentally - then again, ultrasound mapping is a far cry from audible tones at 230 dB !
"The Human Dolphin Foundation's project at Marine World, where I was 'called-in'
many years ago, spent the day, and declined to have anymore to do with the project
... like all good projects, it origionally had goals of real-time dolphin speech trans-
lation on PDP 8's, which were quite fast in their day, but not sufficient for real-time,
nor all the number crunching needed - and the origional project, sponsored by Dr.
Lilly, then in 'trouble' politically for previously 'dissecting' dolphins, had degenerated
into a "let's see how we can save this project" research project. Apple IIs were brought
in, as well as trainers, to 'play' underwater video graphics symbols in some sort of con-
ditioning experiment - far from the goals of the origional project, and as I suspected, a
way to continue interest in the foundation and keeping the unrealistic project alive by
changing it into an advanced training project for captive dolphins in the tank ... even
the dolphins became bored at this point, not to mention that they were now unsuitable
for other experiments for 'natural state' dolphins. I received no compensation for my
day spent there, nor did I wish to be associated with the payroll, or the project ...
seeing the state of degeneration of the origional project, I concurred that the current
usage of computers was inadequate for the task, and wanted no part of the 'after-
thought' project ..."

PSI : ESP, Psychic, Predictions?
UPDATE : At the urging of Cynthia, Louise, and Ellie ( http://www.crystalinks.com )
I have returned to persuits of 'psychic phenomena' as personal experimentation for me.
The current theories include EMF influencing brain patterns ( thoughts ) from 'out there'
as the 'cause'. If you're following the Millennium thoughts, then all psychic phenomena
will become more commonplace among all people on the planet ... some Native American
beliefs, as well as the Church of Divine Man ( CA, OR, WA, HI ) have said as much all
along ... In a recent e-mail to Ellie, I mentioned it seems odd karma that I moved here
to Oregon many years ago right after the S.F. Bay Area earthquake, only to be here in
time for the next one in Seattle - she said she got a similar psychic impression as well,
and a third person, also a psychic, just moved to New York to escape Seattle before
the next one occurs there ... years earlier Jerry M. moved to Scottsdale, AZ before the
big L.A. area quake ... Since three of us got a 'message' about Seattle, I thought I would
try to get more details on it :
Nexus ...
Since nearly four years ago, with only a bookmark list of 7 search engines, and
several web pages about the Montauk Project, this website went on-line as the
"unofficial" Montauk website ... it is fitting to update the users as to the latest
news about Montauk, BNL, and related sagas ... According to an article in a U.S.
edition of an Australian science magazine, NEXUS, in the September 1997 issue, an
interview with David Morehouse sheds even more light onto the "Project Stargate"
saga by the CIA and DIA to include results of psychic "remote viewing" techniques
used to investigate the crash of TWA Flight 800 by a team of six remote vievers ...
Well guess what ... Brookhaven National Labs didn't escape this time - apparently
there WAS a "military" exercise then , involving a "1.4 gigawatt stream of electrons
( 'star wars' weapon ) aimed at ... a test drone Tomahawk missile from adjacent Naval
weapons facility ... and the TWA flight ... was ( momentarily ) in the gun target ( firing )
line ..." What makes this all so interesting, other than the "story" was never aired by
CBS News, is the continuing link in secret weapons research, Brookhaven; and if you
remember the Montauk radar that "downed" spacecraft in the '40s - it all ties neatly
in - that the "Montauk" Project is still on-going, as well as "Star Wars" weapons
for potential "UFO" threats ( ? ), and Brookhaven National Laboratories again ...
In the current issue of NEXUS another article mentions, " ... in late 1996 a leading
British psychic, who often works with Scotland Yard and MI5, was approached by
the CIA and asked to remote-view the TWA 800 incident. She reported seeing two
beams flash down from high altitude; where they intersected they created a third
orange-red beam which shot out, hitting the jumbo jet and causing the secondary
major explosion ..."
" ... the overall evidence pattern here links the destruction of TWA 800 to an EM-
type event that strongly resembles certain of the Australian fireball-event types."
When more information from Preston Nichols, and others at Space-Time Labs becomes
available, we will try to keep you informed ... anyone got clearance for the BNL labs
repository at - telnet://suntid.bnl.gov ? UPDATE : suntid.bnl.gov is off-line now, and
the remain two telnet servers at bnl.bnl.gov and bnl.gov disconnect quickly - gone are
the warnings, and the SunOS logo ...
UPDATE Dec. 5, 1997 -- MONTAUK AIR FORCE STATION and TWA 800
"Intelligence reports passed through Preston Nichols have confirmed the following
regarding TWA Flight 800. It is officially considered a rumor. On the date of the
crash, military maneuvers were being conducted in the vicinity of Center Moriches.
A low flying (tactical) nuclear missile, which was deactivated, was discharged in
simulated battle from a low flying plane. It was aimed at a heat-generating target
which was trailing behind a C-130 airplane. The heat generator ceased to function
whereupon the missile locked in on Flight 800. The missile was designed to circle
above its target. It was never meant to hit anything. In the midst of these errant
maneuvers, the particle beam at Brookhaven Labs activated the nuclear mass in
the warhead by supplying neutrons to make the nuclear mass go critical. Quite simply
it was the particle bean [sic] which set off the nuclear device. Of course, when a
nuclear blast occurs, it leaves a residue of radiation. This explains why debris retriev-
ers were seen wearing radiation suits."
" 'Hit' scenarios have been speculated on with regard to French intelligence agents
being aboard Flight 800, but these are not confirmed by our sources. Additionally,
green streaks have been reported over Long island by many different pilots. It is be-
coming old hat. These green streaks are caused by atmospheric reaction with the
particle beam. While we cannot prove to you the above occurred it is an entirely
plausible answer. The fact that the media won't pursue any of these leads says
the whole story."

The NSA Employee's Handbook
Every once in a while a document surfaces, about the NSA. I can't remember which
one of the three was the most sensitive : The MIT Guide to Lockpicking, the Air Force
Security Manual for AREA 51, or the NSA Handbook. We found all of them on the 'Net
and have links on The SPYder Web index page ... in particular the 1994 re-write of the
NSA Handbook is interesting in that amateur radio operators are seen as 'possibly used
as agents for other governments' perhaps unknowingly ... all that because Rev. Jim
Jones was a ham operator, and illegally used ham radio from Guyana to San Francisco
to communicate for supplies, etc. for Jonestown ... wow, despite how many filed com-
plaints with the F.C.C. from other hams listening in on the 'traffic', which were ignored ...
then again so were the warnings about the attack at Pearl Harbor. Check out the Hand-
book for yourself and see what you think :
The NSA Employee's Handbook
'Be anonymous ... don't stand out'. Well I can't be working for the NSA then ... although
I'm sure rumors still persist ... all the information comes from the Internet.
Executive Orders ...
Here's some new Executive Orders :
10995: Seizure of all communications media in the United States.
10997: Seizure of all electric power fuels and minerals, public and private.
10999: Seizure of all means of transportation, including personal cars, trucks
or vehicles of any kind and total control of highways, seaports and waterways.
11000: Seizure of all American people for work forces under federal supervision
including the splitting of families if the government finds it necessary.
11001: Seizure of all health, education and welfare facilities, public and private.
11002: Empowered the postmaster general to register all men, women and children
in the U.S.
11003: Seizure of all airports and aircraft.
11004: Seizure of all housing and finance authorities to establish Forced Relocation
Designated areas to be abandoned as "unsafe".
11005: Seizure of all railroads, inland waterways and storage facilities, public & private.
# 1219: Signed June 3, 1994, by President Bill Clinton. Encompasses all the above
executive orders.
Not to mention the re-classification of Area 51 ... Wonder which federal agency would
have 'oversight' to such an undertaking, including military dispatch ? Try F.E.M.A. ...
Uncle Tom took money from the C.I.A.
Back in the late '60s there was a monthly column in 'Electronics Illustraited'
magazine called 'Uncle Tom's Cabin'. While mostly a short-wave listening column, it
had real insights into U.S. foreign policy at the time. By the heading drawing, we knew
Tom Knietel was caucasian, though once admitted to some Native American blood;
was mid-life, somewhat overweight, and had a passion for 'tinkering' with sports cars.
One column explained that someone had sent him a T-shirt that said, "Uncle Tom took
money from the CIA". His comments were that he didn't know whether he should be
angry about it, or laugh at it ! His column DID contain lots of information, that he
claimed. "all came from short-wave radio listening". While I could never hear any of
the offshore pirate radio stations he referred to on the East Coast, his monthly columns
told of various assasination attempts on Fidel Castro, in great detail, and why they
failed. Exploding cigars, and stuff ... remember that some 30 years ago such information
was not to be had by the news media, especially soon after events like those. He
regularly discussed 'secret' foreign policy, and while appearing as a regular conser-
vative, after years of reading his columns, one gained a sense that he preceded Jack
Anderson, and other print journalists as a 'whistle blower'. If he were writing today, he
might claim that all his information came from the Internet ...
We knew over time that, like most of us, he had not served in the military, but had
some friends there, and, a lot of his columns centered around the CIA, coups in Third
World countries, etc. We also know that he did not ever take a federal loyalty oath,
"to protect and defend the U.S. Constitution ..." like many Federal employees have
since ( the President takes it verbally, the rest of us have to sign a written statement
kept on record forever ).Nor did he ever require an exhaustive FBI background search,
nor was he ever 'on-call' 24 hrs / day from any little known Federal Agency 'activated'
by a phone call, regardless of where, geographically, he may be living, nor was he
unlisted, filed tax returns from a P.O. Box, etc. In short, there was never any proof that
Tom was working for the government in any capacity, even disinformation, and certainly
he was no 'Uncle Tom' ...
It is interesting that someone who is a writer, and nothing more, could have such rumors
circulated about him - though it didn't hurt the magazine circulation, to be sure. Tom
Knietel quietly faded into retirement, and was never heard from again. Many of us eagerly
listened to Radio Havana for the latest weekly scheduling updates for anti-war protest
marches throught the U.S., and listened to Radio RSA, 'the voice of South Africa' for the
latest Apartheid propaganda, so Uncle Tom did make a difference, and was a valuable
resource, and an inspiration to many. Now in the '90s, it seems unlikely, in this enlight-
ened age, that such 'cold-war' hysteria, and 'secret' government foreign policies could
occur, with as well connected as the public is, Internet and all ... Let's hope those days
of false accusations, half-truths, and general lack of understanding of the facts are
gone forever ... and if the're not ?

"Dear Radioman :"
"Thank you for taking an interest into my ex-husband's death.
Philip had actual military photographs of "Operation Crossroads" in which the
Atomic Bomb was dropped on Bikini Atoll. They clearly showed the mushroom
cloud, taken by an aircraft, with UFO's speeding out of the water. He also
talked out about many other things other than UFO's and Aliens, he also talked
about the New World Order, the Oklahoma and World Trade Center Bombings (he
was an explosives expert - structural engineer - and knew that the blasts
could not be from fertilizer bombs), about Black Budgets, CIA, etc. - He also
was involved with the Japanese Government to prove that the USA had stolen
billions of dollars in royalties for some computer technology that we jointly
created. He was one of the last survivors of the Dulce "firefight" with
aliens. He talked about the "Gunderson" frieght cars, which could hold 130
people for the concentration camps he knew the location of. He could tell you
where ALL of the dumb bases were in the US and most of those located
throughout the world. I believe the government purposly "hid" his work
history, and "reprogrammed" him, so that when I met him in 1986 he knew very
little, but occassionally had bits and pieces come out. When we were married
in 1987, and he started to change his medications and doctors, he began to
remember many details of his past life. I have since been in contact with
others who knew Philip before 1980 and can verify his previous work. One of
these was Col. Wilson, a founder of Skywatch on the internet, who just
recently died of cancer. Philip also had cancer, and MS, and brittle bone
syndrome, .....but he did not kill himself as the coroner states. I believe
he was murdered, and my story tells you why. If you see anymore articles
about Philip, or his work, will you please forward it to me?"

More 'Remote Viewing' ...
"We took this information to a former N.S.A. agent who is still
well-connected. He stated that remote viewers have about a 95% track
record ... "
"Tuesday morning, February 17th, we talked with a former U.S. Pentagon
officer who had recently returned from Washington, D.C. when asked his
opinion about remote viewers he stated his agency gave them a 67% track
record. We informed him of N.S.A.s 95% rating to which he replied 'perhaps
some where in-between' ... "
Having just finished reading 'Mind Trek' by Joseph McMoneagle, talk about
a total deja-vu book ( since I too took the 'Gateway' course from the Monroe
Institute years ago ) ... interesting parallels to government research at SRI to
the secret 'reverse speech' project are staggering ( see 'speech.html' ) . While
I can't elaborate any furthur, I will say that in the wake of the declassification
of Project Stargate, and everyone involved publishing a book about it from
their own perspectives, the McMoneagle book - with 1997 updates - is, in my
opinion, a "must read" for anyone with psychic abilities - particularly how one's
friends and family might not 'take it too well' - or 'reversal reaction' for all reverse
speech experimenter's ... I will say that it's the best book for 'seeing into' the minds
of SRI researchers, and other labs, as to how, in particular, the paranormal research
projects were 'approached' in the '80s - an improvement since the 'Uri Geller' days,
but that's another whole story ...
Tales from the S.R.I. crypt ...
My friend 'Rob' is no longer an employee at S.R.I. in Menlo Park, CA ... I suppose
it will be harder to get more 'stories' about happenings there in the future ... back in
the early 70's when psychic Uri Geller was being tested there for psychic abilities,
there were those who filed dissenting opinions regarding the research results - and
what they meant. These were published in book form years later - the elaborations
did reveal that at that time Uri Geller did some amazing things - though not under
strict scientific controls. Uri hated the 'games' as he called them, and went out of
his way then to deliberately sabotage every experiment so the results would be of
an inconclusive kind, or not at all. I don't remember why he did that, but perhaps
he didn't care for scientists ! What he did do, which impressed many of the research-
ers present at that time, was to do amazing things involving telekinesis, which were
all witnessed, but unfortunately not the particular goal of that experiment ! I wonder
how many other experiments done there over the years, that were later printed and
made available ( declassified ) for others to read ... some information has started to
become available recently - send updates, to : radioman@seasurf.com
UPDATE : Here's a new 'mystery' from a website on AOL about the use of EM fields
to 'induce' audible sounds in the human brain ... the unfinished, and presumedly quite
abandoned, from last fall, had as an unfinished doccument, the following bio / resume
excerpts for Alexander MacRae :
"In 1966 he ( Alexander MacRae ) was recruited by General Dynamics Electronics
Division in Rochester NY as a senior engineer working on the development of early
ATE for the F-111, in particular the voice communications radio transceiver testing."
" ... carrying out several research contracts for USN (Sealab 2), Wright-Patterson
AFB (Classified), and NASA - although originally designed for the Manned Orbital
Laboratory (canceled), you can still see the result being used by astronauts in the
Shuttle for voice enhancement. During that time he became one of the five leading
experts in speech research in the world - one was Japanese, two French, and one
Russian."
Yes, SRI was mentioned. More as we find it ... see bio at :

Internet Madness
In updating the strange Internet Madness, perhaps related to some Millennium Madness
of late, it seems all has begun to 'die down' from this last epidemic ... recent e-mails still
show folks from Pacific Coastal communities are moving inland, and wild accusations of
all sorts are no longer posted on the many forums. We welcome this return to sanity from
otherwise ordinary individuals who's imaginations were overactive lately. Many have now
taken down their 'alternative forums', and I have renamed mine as an 'announcement
board' since that appears to be it's current niche. Much good material there does find its
way into this newsletter still - looking back at the hysteria around, but not directly related
to, reverse speech - some of the better 'inventions' were :
1) I made up some of the important posts there,
2) I really DO work for the C.I.A.,
3) and my favorite : I wrote software to defeat Internet User Tracking !
All proposterious, to be sure, but then again, would you trust these individuals to do
therapy, counciling, and 'protect and serve' ? Let's hope their 'day job' uses more critical
thinking than their internet postings ... and they totally missed the governmental agency
despite hints, and my lengthy dissortations - perhaps that's why I don't see any of them
at Mensa gatherings ... let's enjoy the break, and remember who is really in charge of
things ... certainly not I. Are you ? Oh BTW, the new graphical link to the newsletter is
a photo of Cynthia, on the 'homepage' ( album.html ) ... That's right, invention #4 - that
she 'doesn't exist' either !
Killer Flu returns ...
The following excerpts from AP
WASHINGTON Feb. 7, 1998
"A specimen of the influenza virus which killed 21 million people in the 1918 worldwide
epidemic has been recovered from the frozen remains of a flu victim buried in Alaska.
Researchers at the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology announced Thursday that biopsy
specimens from a frozen corpse exhumed from a cemetery in Brevig Mission contain
genetic material from the killer flu. Experts have said that analysing the 1918 virus
genetic pattern will help science learn how that particular virus was able to kill so many
people worldwide and will help researchers prepare vaccines to protect against the virus
if it breaks out again ..."
"Dr. Johan Hultin, a retired San Francisco pathologist, exhumed four bodies from the
mass grave and found that one, an obese woman, was well-preserved. Tissue from her
lung was later found to contain genes from the killer flu. Dr. Jeffery K. Taubenberger of
the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology said last year that the genetic pattern of the
1918 flu virus is unlike any other flu bug, but is closely related to the "swine flu".
Taubenberger said that although the disease that caused the worldwide epidemic was
called "Spanish flu", the virus apparently was a mutation that evolved in American pigs
and was spread around the globe by U.S. troops mobilized for World War I ..."
" The 1918 flu epidemic caused about 700,000 deaths in the United States and about
a quarter of the nation's population contracted the illness."

Ghost Photography ...
Some of The SPYder Web users are 'into' ghost photography. So are the people
at the Cosmic Society ( http://www.cosmicsociety.com ). Last summer I persued some
information regarding film emulsions useful for those special pictures. Some claim infra-
red is the most useful, for it's 'heat sensing' abilities. My experience with B & W sheet
film for Kirlian Photography revealed most 'activity' was in the UV area for corona dis-
charge. Leading UFOlogists also concede that the UV end of the light spectrum is the
place to look. Wondering if any special films exist, which would be better to use, I
contacted Kodak. My experience with sheet negative film directly exposed was confirmed.

All of our emulsions are sensitive down to 250nm, so there would not be a
specific film that we would manufacture for ultraviolet photography.
However, as most lenses block uv, it would be suggested to obtain a quartz
lens to take full advantage of the sensitivity of the film.

Deliberate Time Shifts ?
Here's a new science area, involving 'time travel' ... seen stuff at KeelyNet, and other
places in the past - flux capacitors, Tesla coils, etc. but real Philadelphia Experiment
projects are always out of reach - not enough amperes, insufficient data, etc. - this time
I've been contacted with someone with plans and schematics, etc. After Kirlian photos
I think I'm prepared - maybe not ... but may see you again, back in the future ! Several
of the 'fringe' science areas were explored at one time by massive government funded
research programs. Some met with some success, like reverse speech ( next ). We'll try
to keep you posted on the coil experiments ...
UPDATE :
"I would like to inform you that Joe McMoneagle the renowned remote viewer will
be running a training course with McKenna Breen Ltd in November. If anyone would
like further information please ask them to email happening@mckenna-breen.com"
Thanks for the info ... according to "Mind Trek", Joe was no longer teaching sem-
inars in Remote Viewing. Glad he changed his mind ... spent the weekend re-reading
Mind Trek, this time for details, instead of just 'plot'. Especially his 'parallel universe'
ideas, and the higher self in the 'future' communicating with us in the 'past.
Fascinating ... here's a story :
This weekend I visited, for the first time, a late '40s diner. I 'knew' that the counter
I was seated at 'shouldn't be there'. After a long look, apparently in the '60s remodel,
some changes were made. Seam lines, etc. Answer - the counter wasn't origionally
there at all. Neither were some of the stainless steel machines ... I 'saw' Toby/Tony
out front in the corner space with his 1955 Ford - White with Blue stripe ... in fact I
couldn't stay in present time at all while I sat there eating my burger and fries.
Weird ... Once info. comes in - it FLOODS in ... Perhaps the section of the book on
KNOWING vs believing stuck. Later on unable to find matches, and checking the
hotel lobby ( they had none, I knew ), and with miles to the nearest town, with stores
already closed, I decided to light the candle in a different method ( for the hot tub ).
Cynthia wanted the candle, so I 'devised' that a small piece of paper towel could, if
rolled up, ignite on the electric range burner in our room - and was looking for a fork
to hold it until I could light the candle ... Thoughts went more to a sharp knife instead
... so I half opened a drawer, looked at all the knife handles, and chose a very sharp
serrated steak knife to hold the paper 'fuse' to light the candle. When I removed the
chosen knife from the drawer, stuck on the end of it was a new folding book of matches.
"This past summer a friend and I encountered a 'temporal anomaly'. We had
been looking for place to play tennis around noon on a Wednesday. A cop gave
me clear instructions to courts about 2 blocks away. We pulled into the drive way
and saw the courts clearly. We watched the lovely lady playing in the right court.
She caught my eye because of her short, white tennis dress. There were 2 others
playing vigorously in the center court and the third court seemed free. We parked
our car. When we got out of the car - everything was gone! There were no courts,
no one playing - because those courts had been torn down 20 years ago. Since this
experience I've had to re-think the reality I've come to think of as being so stable."

Reverse Speech ...
Finally a research tool you too can use, and not have to be a "ghost hunter" to have
figured out how to properly use an EMF meter, or "see" infrared blobs on film negatives.
I experimented with reverse speech for four or five months - primarily because their web
forum was quite interesting to read at that time, along with the fact, I have been quite
curious about N.A.S.A speech reversals ( http://www.reversespeech.com/nasa.htm )
and all ... so I went ahead ( gulp ! ) and modified a cassette player to allow playback of
any tape in reverse - the results were astonishing - rather than triple the length of this
newsletter, I made 42+ separate web pages for it at - http://seasurf.com/~radioman/
speech.html ... If you're like me and tend to be a skeptic, you'll have to see my results
for yourself - THEN try reverse speech for yourself ! The web page includes reversals for
astronauts, therapists, TV hosts, Hillary Clinton, radio station interviews, and more ...
Probably the simplest and most interesting project that a family could do for a new home
science experiment you can do and get results for ... not to mention all of it's potential
use in criminal investigations, "testing" media interviews, famous quotes, and party fun !
Want to know what Hillary Clinton meant by "the analysis wizzard has all" ? Or maybe
what "a marvelous choice" was ? Then maybe you'll have to check it out yourself !
Speech Reversals, or recordings of speech played backwards, is a relatively new area
for all of you investigators to try out for yourself and see, or I should say "hear" what
you get ! If nothing else in the over 1000+ links at the SPYder Web interests you, I
guarantee that this one will ! In addition I've added various 'hobby' technical info. and
clips from books and magazine interviews, as well as the 'best' forum postings - all which
give a good introduction, and overview of what Reverse Speech is all about ... please
check the link at the end of this newsletter for "speech.html" ... with recent Art Bell rad-
io shows, and 'Geraldo', perhaps 'Reverse Speech' is going mainstream ! If the bulk of
my personal e-mail is any indication, the 'interpretations' of reverse speech will confound
and delight the 'experts' well into the new year, with many startling 'new' discoveries
soon to be told ... at latest check, there are claims being made in the metaphysical
arena for reverse speech being used to 'open the akashic records' ... but will it fit
anywhere in my healing medicine bag ? Latest 'reported' government disinformation
attempts continue to 'discredit' reverse speech as a viable science tool - but the feds
did lose a lot of research dollars on it so far. ( see 'speech.html' for story ... )
An update - seems there is a visual analogy to 'reverse speech' - that of those small
'reversing' inverse pictures used in Psychology class ... you know, is it a vase, or is
it two faces ? In that visual test, you have to mentally choose which is the background
and which is the foreground -- same with reverse speech it seems. Some hear one thing
and some another, yet if told, all of a sudden, you hear it too ! For the area of EVP, also
known as Electronic Voice Phenomena, where 'spirits' are recorded from 'nothing' but
white noise on tape, or static on video -- the same applies : the corresponding visual
equivalent is the 'psychomantium' -- where a large mirror is placed high above a chair
in a darkened room, so nothing is seen reflecting in the mirror. Various people have
'visions', some quite prophetic, some see dead relatives, some see nothing at all ...
As a result of recent letters from David Oates, I have made my 'peace' with the group
of those doing research ... David admits my points are valid, and I admit that going
on my own is probably not the fastest way to continue. One new item has appeared
in the 'many voices' thoughts - the newest reversals ( nasamar2.html ) concerning
NASA have a definate 'third party' tone - in fact, so do the 'ramsey' ones ... if I had
admitted before that some of the 'dark side' was my own projections, assured by
David that true reversals ARE there sometimes, then the new questions arise, as
to WHO is speaking ? Even 'Hunter' admitted via e-mail that it would be 'something'
if EVP were behind the reverse speech phenomena ... lets go one furthur, in light
of Jackie's EVP transcripts, that perhaps it's more 'occult' ( hidden ) than first thought
of --- even David Oates has admitted to channeling "Jason" - another worldly being
who speaks to him in his own reversals sometimes ( see It's Only A Metaphor ), then
we must question WHO had 'seen that rape' in the ramsey reversals - was it some
'spirit' talking ? Ouija boards and questions don't die ... and they built psychomantiums
as we speak on other forums ... All I'm saying is that maybe some reversals are not
the subject speaking, nor projections of the researcher, but perhaps 'another voice'
using the medium ... think about that, as the experiments of many others still go on ...
Current theories of how reverse speech works, include EVP, spirits, guides, angels,
other dimensional entities, collective unconscious, your 'higher self' in the future, and
EM fields ( microwave ) induced currents in the brain, and clairaudience ...
Please send any significant results to all of the many web forums so others can also
'see' and review YOUR results so far ... ( updated 1/98 )
By the way, should David Oates ever visit YOUR website, in his quest to stay informed
daily on Internet news - look for the following : Mozilla 4.0 [en] ( Win95 ; I ) for the
'cookie' and the domain of : pool-58.tfb.com ... he visited the forum twice today ...
The 'truth' about 'lie detectors' ...
Last evening, in every major newspaper in America, an AP story was carried for
the anti-lie detector camp. The author was quoting many sources which support
the evidence that polygraph testing should be banned ... and what of reverse
speech ? He commented that the CIA felt that if two out of ten 'moles' were falsly
convicted, it was an acceptable level of error ! Mostly the article went on about
evidence against such testing being used as court evidence. In the end, he
concluded, all it really shows is that someone is 'nervous', and has physiological
reactions - perhaps due to the trauma of the testing itself ! Reverse speech also
fits this category as well ... as those attempt to compile evidence that reverse
speech is a valid lie detection method, for court evidence also, lets examin the
facts so far ... First, the founder 'admits' that reverse speech sounds similar to
electronic voice phenomena, of which he has no explanation. Secondly, with all
the alternative theories to the unconscious going around, which won't die : sub-
conscious, EVP, spirits, guides, channeling, psychic, clairaudience, etc. we have
no single explanation for what's happening. Worst case, like the polygraph, it
signifies nothing. Best case ( documented ), we have that the reverse speech
shows the 'thinking', or hidden self-talking of the individual, comments, etc.
Hillary Clinton was pre-occupied with how her speech was going : was it believe-
able, did she have enough supporting data, were the audience really listening,
did they appreciate the time and trouble she spent, etc. Her mental 'post-it notes'
showed, at best, her frame of mind at the time she was 'saying' something else
forewards. The point being, that if an individual does not KNOW the truth, but
only 'thinks' O.J. is guilty, etc., then that's all you get in reversals at best ...
think about it : As Oates also admits, if that person is not in a position to know
the truth, then their comments, forewards, or reverse, are only what they are
thinking ( at best ). In summary, like the polygraph, which isn't foolproof, reverse
speech, perhaps at best, can only give us a glimpse into the 'hidden' mind of
what someone is thinking ( subject, or analyst ? ), and even if it reveals more
information than said forewards, is it the truth ? Only if they KNOW, and if RS
reveals the correct thoughts ... ask a Clinton advisor if 'he did it', and the
results are irrelevant if he really doesn't know. Ask Clinton himself, and hope
that 1) he knows himself, and 2) he's not just 'wandering' in his thoughts about
something else that FEELS similar at the time ... reverse speech as legal court
evidence ? As scientifically sound, at best, as the polygraph, which is being
considered to be removed as legal evidence in some states ... as for me, I'll
rely on the crystal ball ... better odds !
AREA 51 Update ...

Message:
There is no truth whatsoever to the ridiculous rumor that AREA 51 and its
operations were abandoned and were relocated elsewhere, such as to Utah.
Basically, this rumor had originated from a disinformative article
written by Jim Wilson that first appeared in the June, 1997 issue of POPULAR
MECHANICS. The unexpected article no doubt was greatly "appreciated" by
Nellis AFB and particularly by those at the "remote operating base" at Groom
Lake. The folks at Nellis AFB probably rolled on the floor laughing over the
article on AREA 51, which was for the most part filled with factual errors
much to their absolute delight!! The June, 1997, POPULAR MECHANICS piece
also must have brought much delight to the then Secretary of the Air Force,
Sheila Widnall.
It is my hope that that type of misinformed article did not serve to
curtail the general public's interest in and rightful scrunity of AREA 51
(Groom Lake Complexes), particularly in regards to the issues relative to the
alleged infractions of environmental statutes at the site.
The article, written by Jim Wilson, science editor of POPULAR MECHANICS,
inferred that "the Air Force had abandoned top-secret testing at its once most
secret test site". Then Wilson came to the hasty conclusion and stated that
"we know why and we know where they moved to (i.e., Utah)". Nothing is
farther from the truth than this overly generalized inference. Jim Wilson,
despite his probable sincerity and good intentions, obviously missed the whole
picture.
To begin with, he obviously took a wrong turn on "Groom Lake dirt road"
and went to the wrong location. It was obvious from the photo that what he
did was go south on the "Mail Box dirt road" from Hwy 375, crossed the "Groom
Lake dirt road" and went further south all the way till he encountered an old,
poorly maintained wind fence, believing that he had arrived at the back gate
of AREA 51, when in reality he had arrived at the northeastern boundary of
Range 61. There he decided that nothing was happening at AREA 51, and made a
hasty statement, saying "the 'cammo dudes' are no longer patrolling the
perimeter of AREA 51" and further rashly stated that "what we found was a
securely locked wind fence that appears to have been undisturbed for months".
He further commented that even though he had arrived at the back door to
AREA 51, there was "no guard post". Brilliant!! (There never was
any.....ever at that location!!). He also stated in the article that the
"warning signs flanking the gate aren't very 'threatening' either". (The
reason for that is because there never existed any "threatening" warning signs
there except the sign that says NO TRESPASSING......Nellis Bombing Range). It
is because that location is not AREA 51........it is merely the northeastern
boundary of Range 61. Wilson then came to the rather naive conclusion that
"AREA 51 has shut down!!". Again, a brilliant conclusion!!
I suggest next time that he go to the right location......towards the
real Guard Shack area.....(west all the way on Groom Lake Road).......where he
may really encounter the "cammo dudes", white Jeep Cherokees and perhaps a
Blackhawk chopper or two to welcome him, if he dare go to the Guard Shack
area. He would also see some real "threatening" warning signs along the dirt
road that clearly says LETHAL FORCE WILL BE USED.
From what I understand from several reliable sources, Groom Lake has not
had a major lessening of activity whatsoever. In fact, there may be more
going on at Groom Lake now than before.
In October of 1997, I observed the Groom Lake facility from high atop
Tickaboo Peak and verified with my own eyes that the facility is not only
there but even thought that there may be slightly more structures out there
than before! A couple of new water tanks seem to have been added recently
behind the big hangar area. Also, deducing from a fairly recent, highly-
detailed panoramic photo that I acquired (allegedly taken several months after
the closure of both the Freedom Ridge and White Sides) I have no doubt that
there are some new constructions going on, particularly along the southwest
slope next to Groom Lake. (I had observed the Groom Lake facility a number of
times before from both the White Sides hill and the Freedom Ridge before those
hills became off-limits to the public).
Also, the night prior to the day that I climbed the Ticakboo Peak in
October of 1997, we were standing at the exact spot where Jim Wilson had
stood......at around 7:30 p.m., at the northeastern boundary of Range 61. As
we were looking towards the direction of Groom Lake, we were surprised by a
sudden illumination of the sky just over the direction of Groom Lake and
witnessed around 3 or 4 reddish "balls" of lights that appeared over the
direction of Groom Lake and then disappeared momentarily, after which the sky
over that area returned to total darkness. I could not speculate what those
reddish "balls" of lights were......but this went on intermittently for about
three times during the next 20 minutes or so. There was no doubt that there
was activity of some kind that night at Groom Lake. This was in stark
contrast to the allegation by Jim Wilson that nothing is going on at AREA 51
and that nothing was going on when he was standing at the northeastern
boundary of Range 61, looking towards the Groom Mountains. Probably nothing
major was going on that was visible on that particularly day or evening when
he was there. Moreover, we must bear in mind that most sensitive programs are
thought to be conducted below ground level, to begin with.
Primarily because of the misinformative article from the June, 1997,
POPULAR MECHANICS, the whole world now seems to be under the impression that
there is nothing going on at AREA 51, and that everything had moved to the
Green River Missile Launch "complex" in Utah.
One of the erroneous facts that Jim Wilson mentioned in the June, 1997
POPULAR MECHANICS article was that there was an "officially named AREA 6413"
in Utah. There is no "officially named AREA 6413" in Utah. What he meant to
say was Restricted Air Space 6413 in Utah. However, even to this date, it is
my understanding that anyone can easily get right next to the Green River
Missile Launch "complex". I doubt that there is anything top-secret going on
over there. Rather than the Green River Missile Launch "comlex" (which Jim
Wilson seemed to have inferred as the possible site of the New AREA 51), we
should keep a closer watch on the new "non-lethal" weapons programs as well as
the new "bacteriological warfare programs" going on at Dugway Proving Grounds
in Utah. It is, by far, more "interesting" there than the Green River area!!
All in all, the June, 1997 POPULAR MECHANICS article was in such a
drastic contrast to the more well-researched article that coincidentally
appeared one month prior, in the May, 1997 issue of POPULAR SCIENCE in which
Groom Lake was mentioned several times, with an inference that there was still
plenty going on at Groom Lake.
Some of the ongoing programs at AREA 51, according to reports from the
Monitoring Times and other publications, seem to include a new series of B-2
follow-on by Northrop/Grumman at S-2, possible series of newer Darkstar (Tier
3 - UAV) by Lockheed at S-4 and Tier 2+ and Tier 3+ UAVs at S-9 by such as
Teledyne Ryan Aero.
In June of 1997, after the article appeared on POPULAR MECHANICS, I was
informed that some new components of new, small-scale VTOL produced by
Lockheed had just been transferred to Groom from Air Force Plant 42 in
Palmdale, California.
There is no doubt that there are new generations of Unmanned Aerial
Vehicles (UAVs - remotely controlled surveillance platforms, etc.) being
tested at Groom Lake.
New testing of "skins" for outer coating for a new generation of stealth
program is going on as well, as inferred by the May, 1997 issue of POPULAR
SCIENCE.
A new generation of "electro chromic panels" are probably continuing to
be tested at the facility. A move towards "daytime" stealth capability (such
as through the use of special sensors for transmission of image reflections of
the background environment on the lower as well as upper bodies of the
aircraft) may be in the works at AREA 51.
I would not be surprised at all if they were working on such as limited
tri-dimensional holographic image maximization that could be integrated with
the "electro chromic panels" used to reflect background environment on the
aircraft not only to bring about "transparency effect" but also to bring about
image size distortion of the aircraft.
All this, in addition to several new black, triangular aircraft (such as
the alleged TR-3A Black Manta) that they may be working on.
Anyway, the point is that there may indeed be some new programs going on
in Utah and elsewhere, but to infer that AREA 51 "moved" to Utah is totally
unfounded.
This posting is the latest on Area 51 happenings ... there are even some persistant
rumors that I will visit Area 51 this month - really, like they would let me in to see
the buildings ! As far as I know, the 'Inn' and the Campbell bookstore in Rachael,
Nevada are still open to the public ...
Trust No One ...
And now a few words from our sponsor ... not really; but there have been several of
news items to update ... We have added all the good Roswell, N.M. links we've found
although there are other non-internet sources for news too. (really!) In spending time
looking at many news stories, we decided for "security" reasons to do the following:
First, provide an Internet "Mirror" site for this website in Europe, so that all the files
here are mirrored in at least one other website ! All of what's here is available in at least
two different Internet sites ... redundant, but good news practice to have two different
sources - and secondly, over seven months, was to erase/destroy over 300 MB of files
mostly centered around UFO/conspiracy files and texts, and shareware that I have
collected over four years from the Internet, and several BBSs and saved on floppy
disks ... all that material has been uploaded to websites, and other BBSs if it was not
currently available anywhere else ... why the paranoia ? My comment is why save and
archieve anything personally? The Internet is THE best place to "save" files, and
guarantee that they will still be available in the future, in fact all one really NEEDS
on a hard drive, is simple communications software, browser, viewers, word processor
and other basics and there is no need to collect floppy disks at all ! One would do
better to save baseball cards ! Think about it ... the best way to "preserve" anything
is to put it out on the Internet, in multiple places, and keep no copies of anything, and
TRUST NO ONE ... with all the good documents appearing lately, make sure that YOU
are not a target for the MIBs ... by the way - we'll keep you posted on the developments
of that "reverse speech" arson fire as soon as we have that information ... as well as
that "plasma healing" medical device that's driven by a CB radio and a 140 watt linear
amplifier ... it's a strange universe out there ...
True Confessions ...
For some reason unknown to me, there are people who have been seeking me out
at the workplace to tell me their paranormal stories .. ( see sedona.html ) There is very
little mention, if any, of my outside interests, including the Internet - however I don't
mind at all - and it provides more for this newsletter ... Recently a gentleman who's
interests seem to be in the area of alternative medicine - a "normal" person - bearing
little resemblance to "new agers" I associate with after work - seemed compelled to
tell me about the Philadelphia Experiment ... I have often wondered how many people
- perhaps thousands - have worked on "black projects" as technicians, support, etc. -
His story sheds a little more light on that era ... seems that in the late '60s he was living
on a navy base where his father worked. At age 11, he found "entertainment" exploring
the navy base in a unique way - by crawling through ventilation shafts ! Not having had
that childhood experience, it seemed odd, but I recall stories of bordom from other kids
who lived on military bases, so I continued to listen ... He said that it was the best way
to get to ALL areas of that Navy base, and he enjoyed "listening in" to the staff officers
having private discussions ... While he may have had more to say about what he may
have seen, etc. - I questioned him more on what he had heard of the Philadelphia Project
and the people involved ... It was some 20 years after, and said that the people mentioned
were either people and families he knew, or had known of - said it's spooky to this day !
The officers would frequently discuss the survivors of the experiment, and refer to the
"rubber rooms" in the psych. wards where they still were at a military hospital - seems
some had made visits there to see them ... two things remained, one, that something
terrible had happened as a byproduct of the "cloaking" experiment ... and two, that
they were still "phasing" ( in and out of our space/time reality ) after 20 years, and
couldn't be released ever ... there was more about those trapped in the bulkheads, and
it seemed the military version of local "halloween" stories ... he said that the tone of
the discussions were serious, and they seemed deeply concerned for the survivors and
their families ... and that if anyone was ever questioned publicly about it - to "laugh" it
off as silly folklore ! I can imagine that profound effect these overheard stories had on
the gentleman over the years - especially since he hadn't seen any writings of Al Bielek
at the time, and didn't know what "phasing" was ... I didn't ask his name, nor more details
and probably will never see him again - I actually began to worry a bit that he might be
about to say something "classified" about "stealth", etc. - so I changed subjects to my
Internet site; and said goodbye - he's not online, and not native to Oregon ... Perhaps
I let an opportunity slip by here, but I am not a professional journalist, but if I hear any
"beans", I can pass them on in this newsletter - but I do believe that with other projects
such as Project Phoenix, Montauk, etc. that there must be a lot of folks that have stories
tell - and the Internet is a great medium ... sleep well !
Secret Agents ? ...
Here's a new one .. an "agent" came in my workplace one afternoon, showing an I.D.
Card with photo ( easily re-produced ) as a federal employee of the U.S. Department of
Commerce on assignment out of Washington D.C. - being a very small business here
of only possible interest to the Census Bureau ( ? ) I was unable to have this elderly
gentleman meet with my employer - again, not a usual occurence here in the Pacific
Northwest ... I checked with the website ( http://www.doc.gov ) for the official logo
and seal on the photo I.D. Card and it was a match ... a brief phone call to Washington
revealed that there is a Seattle regional office, but with 18 different agencies under the
D.O.C. - I would need an agency name as well as an employee name to run the federal
locator service for employees ... does seem a little odd ... bet we never see him again
I would think that intelligence agencies could come up with a better "cover" story than
that ... over 130 visits a day on this website - think anyone in D.C. has noticed yet?
Unsolved Mystery Solved ! - January 1998
As this one turned out, it WAS a bogus I.D. in a sense. After comparing notes with
several local merchants, that professional I.D. belonged to a 'salesman' for the nat-
ional 'chamber of commerce', the umbrella organization, attempting to solicit local
funds ... better than those 'fake' social security letters with junk mail in them !
Secret Messages ... oooh !
Let's diverge even a little more ... ever need to send secret messages via the Internet
to your spy buddies, and lost that secret decoder ring ? How about this ... instead of
sending e-mail, which isn't secure - instead, try this ... If you're on the Net, then you
have a user website, whether you knew it or not - the've set aside space for you ...
Secondly, if you don't have a page up, put one up on your web server as index.html
or index.htm, whichever is appropriate - to disallow anyone from seeing the contents
of your folder - a default webserver situation - you wanted a homepage anyway, right ?
Then, the next time you need to send a secure e-mail, simply tell your friend to go to
one of 16,000+ IRC chat rooms, and then tell them the name of the text page, be it
---.txt or ---.---, whatever you uploaded ... give them the name, and when so they can
use their web browser to "save to disk" the non-viewer compatable file, which can be
read with any word processor, then 5 minutes later you can delete the "secret message"
from your web server ... we'll let those underworked NSA staffers have something more
interesting to monitor ( chat rooms ) than those millions of e-mails for the FBI ... wait,
even better - write the message in invisible ink, tear into three parts, and enclose one
part in a delivery pizza, the second part ... :)
Is your phone bugged ?
Here is the main part of a message to someone concerning the possibility that their
phone was 'tapped' - the symptoms included that a loud, high pitched audio tone
would disconnect their line during a long distance call ... twice to different places,
while their phone was patched 'on-the-air' with long distance radio stations ...
"Historically alt.2600 translates to the old phone phreaking days of a long distance
access tone of 2600 Hz ... many changes have occured digitally, but single tone
access is still the norm on long distance lines, in outlying areas ... more than likely,
a local 'security check' is needed - since digital, caller I.D., etc. is what the phone
company uses now, including a third long-distance data line ( anti-phreaking ) - local
'home improvement' quality phone taps are still single tone, and DTMF based ( the
'infinity transmitter' ), and because of their simplicity, and use internationally, still
prevelant. Normally a tone decoder is used for 'bugging' to turn on a remote phone,
and block ringing, but could be wired to selectively 'hang-up' an active line upon
tone burst receipt. Sweep for bugs, specifically phone line attached - looking for non-
standard junction boxes, 'lightning arresters', and other 'innocent looking' additional
devices - they take up some physical space, and are almost always AC line powered
- only short range bugs derive voltage for operation from the phone line itself ... call
(name deleted) and set up a tone 'loop test' to see if your end routinely 'hangs up'
upon a tone sweep from the other end. At one time (number deleted)was Ma Bell's
dedicated line in the SF Bay Area for automatic tone-sweep generation for local phone
'bug detection', but too many knew of it - it's probably still on-line at a different unused
prefix ... the phone co. has the ability to test lines, but if a tap, trace, etc. was put
there by court order, the phone co. will NOT inform you of it ... hope this helps.
There are no 'accidents' ... "
While the cause could have been at the actual radio station conducting a live phone
interview at those times, the chances are small, even with accidental feedback tones
at the station for disconnecting at the station end. In three years of hosting a weekly
radio show, I never had that happen - and I did a lot of phone-patch interviews - the
equipment uses isolation transformers, and anti-feedback equalization for quality live
audio feeds using a 'phone patch' - sounds like the caller's end to me, or some bizzare
happenings in the long distance lines ... paranormal ? I think human intervention ...
AN UPDATE : The store-bought detectors are nothing more than RF detection devices
- al la 'field strength meters' with digital segmented displays in place of a 'meter'. Short
antenna wire -w- IN34A diode, and a 50 uA meter movement will do - with a small filter
capacitor across the meter - see : the ARRL Handbook. A really good RF field strength
meter is the 'Tri-Field EM Meter' ... I purchased one, it detects RF, AND static electric
fields, as well as magnetic fields ( for parapsychology - spirit/ghost work !) A great new
proximity detection device !
RE : taps, the non-RF kind can only usually be found by visual inspection, though
cheap devices exist to measure 'loads' across the phone lines - used for detection,
of say, an extension phone in use ...
The 'infinity transmitter' - a tone burst triggered line monitor can be found indirectly
by using an audio generator, coupled through a 600 ohm audio coupling transformer,
attached to the line to 'sweep' all audio tones ( increasing, or decreasing ) to 'activate'
such a tap, and usually done from a remote location - the 'click', or load then indicates
a device is 'on' in parallel ...
Central office phone taps usually add an additional load to the line, however a friend
showed me a super high-impeadence tap that can 'hear', even while the phone is
ringing ( assuming you 'filter out' the ringing voltage at 70v at 20 Hz !) so I'm con-
vinced that Gov't taps are of the high-impeadence type, and like some central switch-
ing office taps - virtually undetectable ...
If someone was truly concerned, and didn't trust their phone, or possible e-mail monitor-
ing, there's always 'drug store' community fax machines ...

As a simple circuit design for a 'bug' - the above is a simple monitoring set-up using
an op-amp. When ringing voltage comes down-line ??? Fried op-amp ??? Good
isolation with the .1 disc caps, and gain control, though it appears it was designed
for VOX cassette recorder monitoring ... perhaps more to come, from England ...
In short, there are many methods of detecting phone taps in use, as well as other kinds
of remote devices, and some of them are nearly impossible to detect. Caution is the only
watchword here - private detectives have a great arsenal of equipment to use ...
On the forum, is a circuit designed by someone on the Internet in 1996 as a "diverter".
The planned use was to 'divert' incoming calls from a phone line to a second phone
line, presumably to avoid call-tracing back to the source, avoid paying long distance,
calls, etc. It makes an interesting historical circuit - designed for the Canadian phone
system ... as expected, it doesn't work well here in the U.S. ( I have access to two
lines ... ) While it 'works', an equal part of any design ( hardware or software, etc. )
is that it shouldn't also 'work' at certain key times when it isn't supposed to as well .
Like programming, there are times when a circuit can be activated inadvertantly, and
this circuit has that problem. Perhaps the best 'ring detector' I've ever run across
( the first part ), the rest needed updating. This circuit was designed to use the least
parts, assuming it would be 'left behind'. While we don't condone any illegal uses
for this type of circuit, we did find a few areas to improve on it. First, running on 9 VDC
only, without a 5 volt regulator. Secondly, using more readily available parts, which
use less current drain ( important ! ). I designed a stage to activate a time-delay stage
which, when triggered, waits nearly a half second before passing the signal on - to
eliminate any extension pick-ups, or pulse ( rotary ) dial 'clicks' from false triggering
the second line 'on'. Next, a small hysterisis timer, to insure that the feedback-latch
section has time to physically latch the relay contacts, and lastly, a dual-driven out-
put stage to operate two SPST relays which draw minimal current ! With the additional
switching transistors, diodes, capacitors, NE 555 Timer ( CMOS ), and the switching
transistor stages, and output relays, the parts count did increase, as well as the cost;
but all the possible problems of false triggering, false re-setting, lag times, and exces-
sive battery drain, as well as new dropping resistors to eliminate the need for voltage
regulation, were all successfully dealt with . Not to mention that the circuit now works
exactly as it was intentioned, along with a new 'power-up' reset to prevent a false when
first applying power to it, and if power is temporarily interrupted. All in all, another fine
example of an Internet circuit, passed around, that's almost usable ... too bad that 97%
of BBS and Internet files are not so useful ! But there is 'gold' out there ! ( Diverters
are referred to as 'gold boxes' ) I guess this circuit failed the 97% test. Using 'ideas'
from 4 different people in the re-design ... appearently in the origional, the feedback
is in series with the audio circuit. Barely hear it - the switch needs to be on the OTHER
side of the transformer, so the feedback 'latch' and the audio transformer are both
switched in parallel. More dufas award ... the new multi-stage circuit works flawlessly as
intended, with more audio - though still 10 db less than normal; parallel switching,
separate feedback, false detection, delay timer, pulse detector, hang-up detector,
and power-up reset. That was way too difficult ! Possible legal uses : using your
home telephone line remotely, via a second line, to make 'home' rate business calls
while at work ? Or just go home during lunchtime, and make the calls from there ...
Secondly, perhaps a remote monitoring alarm system, similar to Sonitrol, where you
can 'phone home' and then 'listen-in' to kids, pets, etc. while at work - you'll need an
amplifier and microphone for the input side of the coupling transformer. Lastly, a 'dial
up' box for local radio stations to provide 'long distance' listening to their live brodcasts
via a phone call ...
Is your house bugged ? ...
Is your house "bugged"? Two years ago I visited a friend at Christmas time, and had
a small scanner radio ... we found, in the immeadiate neighborhood - three or four
"baby monitors", a cordless phone, and other local stuff. Didn't think much about it
at the time ... I had a chance to make a return visit recently, and was asked to bring
a radio again - this time I borrowed a better one from a Coast Guard friend. All the baby
monitors were gone, one new cordless phone appeared, and "that signal" was still there.
I had written it down previously at 49.845 MHZ, within the cordless phone/monitor band,
Turns out it's a family within the block, a few houses down - as the "range" of those
devices with a good scanner as a receiver, is only two blocks maximum for a 100 MW
device that's only intended to work 200 feet away ... what's odd is that it's still there.
First, it's not a phone, and that family has no babies, or small children ... an intercom
perhaps? Of the wireless kind? What's odd is that it's apparently on 24/hrs a day ...
A stuck intercom ? It would appear to be a "real" bug - and of high quality : the signal
has been on for at least 6 months, and doesn't drift in frequency - so that rules out a
battery powered device, like a cheap wireless-microphone kit, so it's probably powered
directly from the A.C. line ... drift is less than 1 KHZ and it's not NBFM but not quite
wide band since it's deviation is +- 10 KHZ ( 15 KHZ was the old wide-band standard )
so we can rule out a "commercial" two-way radio - with the wide-band audio deviation
it's audio pickup is extra-ordinary - it "hears" passing cars, wind chimes, etc. outside
as well as radios/TVs anywhere in that house, which is due to it's wide-band dev. as
heard on a modern narrow band FM scanner. Since we couldn't really determin any
more than this, I "logged" it on a frequency notepad, and told my friend I might check
to see if it's still there in another year or so - but the question is posed - what is it?
spies.wiretap.com ...
If someone wanted their house "swept" for "bugs", it's a fairly simple matter - most RF
Field Strength meters are sensitive enough, and cheap - though I prefer the Tri-Field
meter - not only is it useful for paranormal/proximity sensing for electrical/magnetic
fields, but it is a decent RF field strength meter as well ... With "non-disclosure" F.C.C.
laws being what they are, what could my friend do ? If it were my home, I would welcome
being told about it ( outside ), and would probably want to disect it myself. In this case
it may be possible to find it, determin it's manufacturer, and perhaps which agency ( ? )
might have left it there ... more on this in the future.
Unsolved Mystery Solved ! - January 1998
As it turns out, it's still "on the air" - and it IS a baby monitor ! It was deliberately
set up as an open intercom between the main house, and an adjacent property for
child monitoring purposes / paging . That explains the extended range, and why it's
always 'on' ...
Low Tech ...
Now for a little contrast, how about low tech ? ( or getting to know YOUR computer ! )
I've been testing browsers for their SPEED only, since I would need over 350 years
to check out all the web pages that I'd like to ...
Besides, I like to choose totally separate programs for : E-mail, FTP, mIRC chat
and others so I can customize them ... and most of these are Winsock compatible
anyway - the result, to download the main index page at The SPYder Web in under
a minute, at 28.8 K is a winner - Netscape ver. 1.22 ... ( n16e122.exe ) available
as a download everywhere - yes, no frames, but you can swap the netscape.exe,
bookmark.htm, netscape.hst, and readme.txt files if you want to use another, say
for a 2.02 one if needed ... after Netscape 1.0, 1.1, 1.2, 1.22, 2.0, 2.01, 2.02, &
3.0 and 3.04 , the clear winner is Netscape ver. 1.22 for the *most* speed ... and
a recent test of the equivalent 16 bit ver 3.04 ( n16e304.exe ) , for Win 3.1, in a
comparison to ver 1.22 ; yes the ver 1.22 was 840 % faster ! And yes, I also write
all the HTML code from scratch, using a word processor ...
UPDATE : Yes, you can :-)
Have Multiple Netscapes in a folder - and activate the particular version that
you choose !
Edit that 'do not edit' bookmark file !
View cache files at ANY TIME by leaving you browser ( or FTP ) and simply
looking at .MOZ or .TMP files - they can even be undeleted and viewed later !
FREE Mass E-Mail list of YOUR friends :
If you wanted to send e-mails to many people, but didn't have one of those hot
new 'spam' programs -- here's a tip : the more you know about YOUR computer
the better. Most e-mail programs keep a 'log' of who you e-mailed in the past ...
I don't know about you, but I wouldn't care to use some 'marketing' e-mail list, but
rather a list of people I've personally had contact with before. Just 'find' that log
file, use a simple word processor to 'cut and paste' ONLY the e-mail addresses them-
selves into a pre-existing 'address book' list for your e-mail program ( mine had only
six names in it ). Now you have a true mass-mailing list of *hundreds* of YOUR own
contacts to send, say a NEWSLETTER release to ... remember, that no animals were
harmed in the making of this mailing list ! You've simply used a commonnly UNused
function ( the distribution list ) already in your e-mail program for what it was intended
for; without having to hand-enter all those addresses - which were gleaned from all of
your past e-mails. NOTE : Preview edit the list in case Aunt Martha told you to 'never'
write her again after last year's cyber Christmas Card disaster !
Dining with the Stars ...
When I had breakfast 'with' Larry King, I thought that would be the end of it ... well,
not exactly. He was having a rare break from his family and entourage at La Costa
Resort near San Diego, CA. There he sat, early one morning, enjoying the privacy
at the next table, eating his buckwheat, and reading his newspaper before the day's
activities began ... I'll bet that was one of the few private moments he has in his busy
life ... like all good resort attendees, we all totally ignored him and let him have his
breakfast in peace ... well, until the latest celebrity appeared. Last weekend, as we
sat in a large Oregon coastal hotel's dining room for lunch, with watermelon on my
plate -- two tables away, there he was ... Gallegher ! I remembered seeing that he
was doing a show the day before at the Convention Center ... no one recognized
him, but I sat there, enjoying the irony, with my watermelon, trying not to laugh !
It occured to me, that I had no good reason to be so jolly, so I composed myself
to a smile, as I had my lunch ... lessons learned : it's harder to 'ignore' a comedian
than other fameous folk; no, I didn't see what he ate, and yes, he's naturally funny
in the sense of comic gestures done unknowingly, all the time, that have become
a part of his stage act ! I once had a friend who was a professional juggler -- it
was extremely difficult for anyone around him to keep from smiling ! With my less
than candid reaction, I can only hope the next fameous person I stumble across
by accident isn't funny, or I might be ! And by the way, the power of suggestion
is a powerful thing -- a recounted story of a high school friend viewing '2001 A
Space Oddesey' for the first time, recalled laughing uncontrollably at the 'ape'
scenes ... and of course a few days later when a friend and I saw it at a theatre,
well ... lucky we weren't kicked out of there ! All because we visualized Richard
making an 'ape' of himself ...
Internet Millionaires ?
In the next paragraph I describe a project who's complete plans are available at
no cost on this website. Partially a business decision concerning the ham radio
market, which I've thoroughly tested locally; in part due to the spirit of the 'Net
where everything is free, and mainly due to hundreds of e-mails, mostly from places
like Hungary, and other countries asking for tons of technical help ... in short, so
far I haven't seen a viable use for the Internet for electronics marketing except for
component parts, and I have no "proof" that 3000 cassette recorders were sold in
6 months either ! Those interested in cassette mods. need look no furthur than the
webpage at "speech.html" on this website, and the LCD decoder/sequencer project
at "decode.html" here also. There seems to be a 5 % return or better on "junk" type
electronics projects on the Internet, which beats the 2% return rate for direct mail
marketing of similar items ...
The latest fad is the ever increasing cloning of that "free cable TV" project. Not
unlike similar magazine projects, this one appears under different names, and with
essentially the same circuit. We are bombarded with junk mail telling us how simple
to build this "box" is - and that it's illegal - for "educational use only" ... well, I can
guess that no one who "sells" these plans for a few dollars, or parts, or kits for
quite a few dollars ever built one of them ! Back in the "old days" there were
many complex encoding schemes that used missing "sync" pulses that externally
needed to be decoded, then "added in" to the mixed video signal, etc. While not
aware of the state-of-the-art in this area, I suspect all schemes, including this
"new" tuned filter method probably don't work anymore, but the plans are still
out there ... all of these have the same "circuit" which appears to be a twin
variable-tuned notch filter, designed to "take out" some added signal ... what's
worse is the hysteria about the parts - you can't buy the variable capacitor -
because it's a non-standard, special-order part that the cable TV industry now
"doesn't want you to have". Like the cassette recorder mods., a lot can be done
simply, and without adding any fuel to this "enterprise" I will add that it should
be obvious to anyone with an electronics background looking at an LC circuit
that there's a better way to eliminate the need for "special parts" than to have
a "secret source" - for many dollars - to get them. But that's the latest Internet
scam - similar to prohibition alcohol, your "friends" will bail you out ... really?
even after your caught with illegal cable ? I know of high school electronics
students who can re-design that very circuit with nothing more than a gate-
dip oscillator and a few spare parts. Maybe they should cruise the high schools
for their "experts". A simple mod, than involves a few minutes modifications
to the existing "tuned filter LC notch circuit", with NO additional parts costs
would allow standard off-the-shelf parts to be used just as well - which let's
me excuse the rip-offs who have no knowledge of what the're peddling, but
surprises me that the self-proclaimed "origional cable guy" doesn't know "his"
circuit either ! Let's hope future electronics rip-offs continue to be as funny !
Unfortunately here in Oregon, the State Police have diffused over 114 home-
made pipe bombs so far this year, meaning that Beavis and Butthead were
very busy in Dad's garage, and it's not as funny as the cable stuff - in that
the "chemical processes" for making various powders, etc. are so poor that
I'm surprised more hospital emergency rooms haven't seen more of these
Internet kids for treating serious injuries than they already have ... the kid
who bought simple magacian's flash powder and found a way to make it really
potent is now missing a foot ...
Decoder Rings ...
At this website, under "DECODE" is a main area for the page decode.htm which
has a program I wrote previously for the Parallax BASIC Stamp II Microcontroller
Chip primarily for use as a ham radio "touch-tone" selective call decoder ... Since
some 280 + people have downloaded the first free software, I thought I should at
least set up one as a 24/hr application myself to see how reliable it actually is ...
It turns out that it's extremely reliable, and operates from very short fast tones, and
re-sets the software settings in case of power failure ( another common fact of life
for those of us living here on the Oregon Coast). I'd spent over a week, 24 hrs/day
with a new inexpensive scanner, monitoring the few local 2-Meter HAM band radio
repeaters, and having chosen a lesser used one, which does pass touch tones,
to set up my selective call on. And not only does this mean that I never actually
hear the radio, but a "message light" latches on to indicate that I have recently had
a call AND a small pocket pager is activated at the time of the selective call as well.
Silence of the Hams ...
An update here : most of the e-mail I get these days is from 'inactive' or ex-hams ...
Most find what I'm doing out here 'refreshing' ... I will say that hams, by training,
are 'natural' for 'reverse speech' listening, based on hundreds of hours of critical &
discriminating radio listening - yet hams are very skeptical to even try listening to
tapes backwards - even though they WILL hear something ... secondly, I just saw a
mailing from an independent group who will, for $ 6.00, renew your ham license with
the F.C.C., or you can put a stamp on the form, and mail it to the F.C.C. yourself for
free ... what a choice ! Are hams silent ? Not the inactive ones who write to me ...
I have been working on a revision of the P.C. Board for the decode project - it uses
a different DTMF decoder chip and associated parts - a greater dynamic range AND
noise immunity was needed for radio aplications to run reliably ... the current model
does three things simultaneously ... 1) decodes and displays DTMF digits on an LCD
screen ( 2 X 16 ) in real time AND 2) decodes a particular four-digit selective call
sequence and THEN 3) enables a switched output device and sends, at three watts
audio power, my ham radio callsign ( or whatever's programmed in it ) in Morse Code
for three cycles ... many more enhancements in the works ... by the way, did you
know that the use of a P.L. decoder on a ham repeater drastically reduces the
operating range, and sensitivity? Even though it's a decoded sub-audio tone,
it takes a "stronger" signal to bring up and hold that repeater ... Perhaps with
having just returned from a several day visit to the San Francisco Bay Area, I
should comment on "the silence of the hams" ... as Mike puts it - has everyone
gone to the Internet ? I had many, many lengthy QSOs on 2 meters, but did manage
to notice that some 90% of the Bay Area hams are "missing". There are always some
new trends in any hobby, and ham radio is no different - perhaps "packet radio"
can account for the "abductions" ... Still, it does seem that with more population
that the Ham Operators would grow in number ... as Jerry said, all the things that
we used ham radio for ( autopatch, packet, remote measurements ... ) are now
all possible commercially in cellular phones, faxes, and internet-cameras ... and
there has been a larger loss of elderly hams, without an equal number of new hams
to continue on - so it makes some kind of sense, and with Web, Telnet, IRC Chat
and E-mail, etc. - there are many areas of Internet for people to "disappear" into .
Censorship on the 'Net ! ...
On a more serious topic, regarding the topic of Internet freedom - where the concept of
censorship comes up occasionally ... as for what you find here on The SPYder Web
with hot lists, search engines, meta-search engines, directories, databases, and links
to the paranormal ... the question comes up of what NOT to link to out here ...
I've chosen to keep it "G" rated out here, for "lock-out" browser parental software
reasons, and chosen NOT to link militia/survivalist on-line books on "how to:" make
everything from weapons, guns, martial arts techniques, tools, etc. and technical info.
and schematics for phones, up-to-date hacker info., credit card "insider" information
and the like; though 98% of that information makes good comedy reading ! In a short
discussion I had , it was pointed out to me that such information of the "dangerous"
kind, has always been available in the past ... and were it not for the origional 1987
manuscript of the "MIT Guide to Lock Picking", I might not have eventually become
a registered/licensed/bonded Locksmith years later ... so the "debates" continue,
including what to do about RE-classifying that Air Force Security Manual for AREA 51
which is still out there today ... I can only say that the truth IS out there, somewhere,
and anything you can think of to find in the "world's largest library" - the Internet
IS probably out there ... including lots of things I chose not to link to ...
If you learn nothing else, the Internet is a resource, one that will probably replace
BBSs, like Compuserve and AOL, with local Internet access the future norm ... and
please check 'alert.html' from time to time - the latest alert involves a proposed tax
on a 'per-minute basis' for internet access to try to help 'offset' additional local phone
company use ... write letters now, or pay a tax later !
They're all Dead !
There are those who say that Locksmithing, as a profession, is outdated - and that
hobbies, like ham radio, are dying ... and they may be right ! While currently inactive
in ham radio again; and a registered/licensed/bonded Locksmith, I'm certainly more
than a little concerned myself ... A friend of mine was also more than concerned that
the "build-it-yourself" projects in current electronics hobbiest 'zines were not suitable
for beginners and kids interested in electronics ... I agree. So what happened to the
human element ? No, I'm not saying we all spend too much time using computers, but
rather what of the skills of inventiveness - of making one's own tools, or the urge to
be creative, or building "gadgets", or helping one's neighbor ? After much thought
I've concluded that all is still alive and well, but in different areas - check out those
who build applications around the microcontrollers, like the Stamp II, 'do-it-yourself'
cassette recorder mods for 'reverse speech', and check out ( if you have about 350 years )
all those 30 million web pages for home-grown creativity ... perhaps the next generation
is not as lazy as we "boomers" might assume - rather that the efforts are being funneled
into other areas like the Internet. Some food for thought, as the world continues to change.
Change can be good, and an open mind will be a requirement for life, as we
probably can't imagine it, in the next century ... and keep watching "Strange Universe" !
73's ( best wishes )
